★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best midwives in Calgary!! The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and polite. My midwives were Erin&Maryam but for my actual birth it was Maryam & Babil. Even the receptionist is funny and sweet. I've had midwives before but nothing like red community midwives. I had a home birth and felt so safe and cared for, they eased all my worries and were very professional. I can't wait for my next pregnancy just so I can spend more time with these lovely ladies.

From Shireen's expertise at reception and Beth's warm and friendly face to all of the skilled and completely genuine midwives, you are absolutely LUCKY if you are able to snag a spot on their list. I've had the pleasure of working with Luisa, Nancy and mainly Annegret - all who took such great care of me during my whole pregnancy and post natal care. All of these midwives are non-judgemental and truly have your best intentions at heart. They want YOU to make the best decisions for you and your family and go above and beyond to make that happen. The relationships built over the duration of care are so genuine and they really get to know you as a person. Having two midwives at the birth was incredibly helpful as I felt they provided different approaches and energies which made the experience as enjoyable as possible and truly one to remember. I cannot say enough great things about these beautiful people, I feel so grateful to have been able to have them as part of my journey. Thank you to every single one of you that makes Red Community Midwives what it is - an outstanding midwifery community that emphasizes love and choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The whole team at RCM provided amazing support through the entire pregnancy, birth, and post-partum experience. I would recommend RCM (and midwives in general) to anyone looking for personalized, professional service. Unlike any other health care experience I've ever had, I actually had the feeling that my wife and I had control of the process. The midwife team took time to explain all options and discuss a personalized plan for our family, instead of just telling us what decisions had already been made for us.
We had a beautiful home birth and the two midwives (Babil and Nancy) instilled absolute confidence as they supported my wife through the birth experience.
And for the men (non-gestational partners) out there: this is the place to be if you want to be part of the process! Babil didn't just stick me in a corner while talking to my wife, she involved me in the discussions wherever possible. The result: I understood what was going on during the pregnancy, wasn't (as) terrified during the birth, and actually felt like I was able to help my wife through the process!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are so grateful to Red Community Midwives and especially our midwife, Annegret. Shireen at reception was always warm and friendly. Nancy attended my birth and her compassionate care was much appreciated. Red took me on as a client after my midwife at another clinic suddenly went on leave. We then hit some unexpected medical issues in the last few weeks, and don’t know how we would have made it through without Annegret’s continued support. She made us feel safe and calm during a really difficult period. We appreciated both her knowledge and skills as a midwife, and her ability to understand us as people. Thank you so much for a very positive experience!

Now that sweet Lucy is here I feel like it's a good time to write a review about our experience.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Red Community midwives. Especially with my midwife Erin.
Now I've been blessed to get to have midwives through 2 of my pregnancies now. And after my 3 year olds pregnancy/delivery I honestly didn't think it could get any better than it was.
I was wrong.
Erin from day 1 made me feel welcome and at home. Like I was talking to a longtime friend even though we had just met.
She was always super helpful and encouraging during the pregnancy. Reminding me multiple times that this is my body and therefore my choice with comfort etc.
Offering many options and ideas to help with any issues that presented. And trying to make things as easy as possible on me.
She was incredibly encouraging at the end when my frustration rose.
During labor and delivery she was incredibly supportive. My last midwives weren't hands on during the labor. They let me do my own thing. Erin was right there beside me. Offering counter pressure and super encouraging words. She reminded me many times that I was strong, that it was almost over and that I could do this. It was amazing to have this especially when I almost felt like giving up at the end.
I honestly can't say enough about how awesome she is! I'm actually sad that this journey is almost over because we wont see her.
Absolutely amazing clinic here. Everyone who works there is very welcoming and very kind. My kids adore everyone who works at Red community. They look forward to our visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful first baby birth at home with our amazing, and skilled midwife Selene. As well as her lovely partner Erin who joined us the day of. Selene has been so informative and helpful with us being first time parents. We felt so comfortable and at ease throughout the whole journey. She had all the answers to any of our questions and was very thorough in explaining anything in great detail. We appreciate all of her suggestions and recommendations which helped us make informed decisions. Selene and Erin made our home birth seamless and kept reminding me I was safe, strong and their encouraging words were reassuring to keep me going. Who knew first time birthing stories could be so positive. Nothing to fear when you have Selene & Erin by your side. Thank you for everything and all that you do, Selene & Erin!!

I felt very safe in their care. I highly recommend Red. They helped me deliver my baby boy naturally when I didn't have faith in myself to do so. I will be coming back to their care when I have my next babies.
