★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered $16K of furniture (bedroom set, living room couch, coffee table, end tables, dining room table/chairs, buffet table). Although the furniture arrived a month late, I am giving 5 stars.
The quality of the furniture is exceptional and all arrived in excellent condition. The delivery company, Pro-Trans International was equally exceptional. The care in ensuring that no damage occurred was of the highest caliber. I live in a townhouse where the stairs are a challenge, so this was very much appreciated. Lastly, the suppliers are Canadian companies and the wood and workmanship is refreshing. I love everything I purchased. I highly recommend checking this place out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What I like about Furniture Ville - I can buy a great made in Canada piece of furniture. I also like that the staff are well informed on their products. My complaint is that once they have your order, the customer service becomes non-existent. Calls are not returned, original expectations that were set come and go. However it’s the lack of communication that's most disappointing. It takes 5 minutes to make a phone call. I also recommend you make sure you understand the details of their sales, they're not as transparent as other stores we have dealt with.
UPDATE - after this post we started to receive more regular updates, but due to a supply issue our couch was delayed further - we finally received it just before Family Day in February. We've had it for about a month now. As for the couch itself, we are very pleased with the comfort, quality and appearance - so I boosted my rating by one star. Had they managed expectations with us from the start would have been 5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor quality furniture considering the price. Drawers are out of alignment. Bed sides are not flush or plumb. Promised all drawers would be soft close, but they aren't. Dresser and nightstand are wobbly, they blamed my new flooring but the previous nightstands weren't wobbly. Furniture smelled for two weeks because of the poor quality varnish. Complaints went unanswered. Not a good experience. You can find better quality elsewhere.
