Very unprofessional rental company! I booked a reservation on Expedia with this 3 weeks in advanced and they canceled it without notifying me. Good thing I was smart snd fast enough to see before I go there! Luckily I rented a car from the Airport using Ace! Just rented a vehicle from Fox. They are off airport at Pearson. First up, they take a long time to pick you up. Expect to wait. A long time. However, the distance from the Viscount airport rail station is a short walk and you might prefer that than wait for them. The rental office is not a tidy inviting place but rather a shabby building that houses about half a dozen car rental operations. I suspect they are all related. The big surprises came at the counter when the unlimited miles was only 200 kms/day. Doesn't matter what your reservation says. Next, my credit card has insurance coverage but they required a $5/day fee to use that instead of their expensive insurance (for me, their insurance was more costly than the vehicle rental cost/day). Did I mention that the rental location hadn't been cleaned, probably ever. Dirt, crud, wrappers, coffee cups that have been there for unknown time. Now the car rented was good and worked as expected. On car return, they told me that it would be 1/2 hour before they could drop me at the airport (they also have a sign taped on the wall). I walked back in 9 minutes instead. Bottom line is that you should not expect any customer service from this location. They act as if they are the ones being inconvenienced. If you are looking for unlimited miles, no charge for using your own credit card's insurance and some customer service training in the staff, look elsewhere. Run fast/run far! This is not the place!

The worst rental car experience ever. They stick you with insurance at the end for everyday your rent even though you denied insurance and didn't sign for it. Stay away from these crooks. Cannot speak to anyone at the location you rent from, only offshore in Philippine's. Terrible minus 5 rating but will not let you post without a 1!!!!!

SCAM ALERT! This company is the SAME as ECONOMY with thousands of BAD REVIEWS I'm leaving my interaction with Priceline for a reimbursement As per our phone conversation of today's date, please find attached, the requested screenshot copy of my credit card charge. I called Priceline the evening of January 4 ,2022 to lodgeΒ the complaint. I was told a refund would be reimbursed to my card. This company does not honor their price as shown on Priceline. Once on site, you are charged multiple extra charges on top of the advertised Priceline fee.Β  It was not UNLIMITED kilometers, as stated, there was an over and above charge for declining their house insurance, plus a five dollar per day fee for a charge which the representative at the counter could not explain.Β  After all the additional upcharges, the price for the rental was double that shown on Priceline.com. Due to the misrepresentation, I did not sign for the further charges and they refused to give me the rental. (I am attaching the Google reviews that I posted immediately following this experience.Β  I would also like to point out that I personally witnessed other customers being forced into agreeing to the additional unexpected fees,Β due to being shuttled to an isolated location. I would also like to point out that Fox Rental and Economy Car Rental are the same company.Β  When shuttled to the location, I discovered they are one and the same. I have attached my credit card info regarding the booking, along with the JanΒ 4, 2022 Google review for your assistance in order to rectify theΒ charge. I have been a Priceline.com customer for some time now and have never had an issue to date. It is unfortunate that this type of transaction has taken place. Should you need any further information from me regarding the matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.Β  I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

I would like to give them 0 stars. These people are scammers BE AWARE from them. I've booked it online through a third party with unlimited mileage and on the day of my pick up the guy behind the counter said that he cannot provide me with unlimited mileage as I've book it for more than two weeks. And apart from this he wanted me to charge for extra insurance $5/day, my reservation was including the insurance which I have opted for while making reservation online. And then he finally says that the amount you paid online is in USD they are gonna charge me the same amount in CAD making my reservation more expensive from what I've booked. Total waste of time now I've to wait for the insurance company to give me my refund as I've cancelled my reservation prior pickup. Luckily they didn't charge for any fees for showing up. "PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH".

They are not decent people, please stay away from them at all cost. I booked through priceline. The address priceline provided to me was wrong, they also did not send the shuttle to pick me up, claiming there was no car and so many people are waiting. When I got there, no one was waiting. They tried multiple tricks to send me away. I checked their website on the spot and they had mini vans available, but they claimed it was a mistake and there is no car. After 2 hours of waiting they finally gave me the mini van! THEY HAD THE CAR READY BUT KEPT ME WAITING FOR TWO HOURS!

Stay away! The worst! They want a $1000 hold on your credit card and charge far above the quoted price. They bait and switch on the car you reserve. They are rude, unhelpful and mean spirited. You basically need to bring your entire insurance policy with you. Cars look in bad shape. Every person we talked to that had the misfortune of renting there had a similar experience. Rental facility is off-site from the airport and no way to tell how to get there. Took us 3 hours just to get to the rental facility. We had to Uber to the site only to have them refuse to rent to us. No way I would give these guys access to $1000 on my credit card. Can only imagine what they do to justify keeping your money at the end of the rental. Physical location is dirty and feels unsafe.

Their attitude was completely disgusting!! I reserved online for $250.00. When I arrived in person they told me they needed a $1000.00 deposit, and it was going to cost 500.00 for a the rental. I don’t write reviews, but they should not be in business!! To waste your time Or money. Even the shuttle Driver is rude. They all say slick comments, and when I decided to go elseWhere they threw my ID AT ME with my bank card. Then waved me off. Go to enterprise, much better and easier. They better get it together. People Out here do not care and will take a charge for respect. I’m not that person, however they are out there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME THIS BUSINESS. You’ve been warned.
