It was an easy experience from signing our contract for a Ford Escape with unlimited kms per the day. We didn't have any issues with the vehicle nor the return. Will use them again here at this location. The location is upstairs on the next level from departures.
N	Nadia A. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The YYZ location of Alamo is AWFUL. Very rude staff. Poor customer service skills. Severe lack of communication skills. Long hold times on the phone. When we arrived, they asked us for a health card or SIN card as ID to supplement our driver’s licences and credit card which I thought was very odd. There was a woman who was asking if there were any defects with the vehicle on our way out so she could (begrudgingly) note them down. We informed her of where all the scratches were and also mentioned that the car had mud stains, both inside and out. You could tell that the window had “stained seat” written on it, but was wiped away (not well). She barked at us, asking why we didn’t select a different car, but at that point the pick up process had already taken us over an hour due to Alamo’s poor communication skills and we needed to get on the road. There also was not much selection. The stains, dirt, and scratches were fine, we just didn’t want them to blame us for damage we didn’t cause, since they seemed pretty sketchy. When we picked up the vehicle, it had a near full tank of gas. No one checked though. We returned it with a near full tank of gas and were charged $16.00 because it wasn’t a full tank. When I parked the car in the lot, a man started hovering over the car as I was packing my belongings and checking all compartments to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything. I felt very rushed by him, even though I was returning the car 2 hours early. There was one man working there when we picked the car up who was pretty decent. He was definitely the exception and not the norm. Rates were fairly cheap. Overall, I would not recommend the YYZ location of Alamo.

Janice was so kind and helped brighten our day! I felt like she was a friend, by the end of our interaction I wanted to be friends with her! Very much recommend this car rental company. So easy to deal with!

Went from terminal 3 to 1 while calling the company. The agent that helped over the phone was great. And when we got to the Alamo desk in terminal 1, the staff there was helpful and super friendly. The team definitely saved us.

No waiting, extremely friendly staff checked us in and we were directed to our choice of cars by another very friendly staff member. We chose a Camry and found it in pristine clean condition, fresh smelling, and full of gas. Upon leaving the terminal we were scanned out by another extremely friendly staff member. What a nice welcome to Toronto! Keep it up, Alamo!!

They also gave me five different choices of intermediate SUV‘s I chose the Volkswagen because I’ve never driven one Taos 1.5 L engine really good on gas
A	Aaron S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a luxury car through Costco for a two week Ontario/Quebec road trip, Rai gave me a great deal to upgrade to elite and basically told me I could take any MB or Audi off the Enterprise lot who they share cars with. Really enjoyed having the freedom to go up to check out the cars before deciding which to take. Car was super clean and drove really well. Alamo gives unlimited KMs so we ended up taking all the scenic routes. We had a blast. Returning was absolutely easy and stress-free. I got my email invoice within 5 minutes of leaving the parking lot, so I didn't have to get on my flight worrying about what extra fees I'd be seeing. Would definitely rent from them again next time I'm in YYZ
