★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brutal receptionist. Wasted nearly an hour of my time with incorrect information while I was in immense pain. Make sure you sit in the chair closest to desk so you can get stabbed in the hand when you want to sit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff have always been friendly towards me, doctors are good for my rare needs too and it's close to home. I was even able to get my vaccine shots on extremely short notice here!
Only complaint is trying to charge me for a doctor's note. A piece of paper and 1-3 minutes of time is not worth $30 and I'm never, ever going to pay those fees. Doctors get to bill the government for the visit as is and are compensated for their time; this is double dipping in profits on the client side which is wrong.
Reducing score from 4/5 to 2/5 because my appointment today which I needed to be cleared for work on Monday wasn't verified, called to verify, found out the clinic was closed for the day.
When this happens - you have to call your clients and let them know!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there twice : first it was for myself and I was happy with the care received, second time it was for my son (1 year old) who had shortness of breath. They refused to see him because it's a covid symptom and wanted a negative test. Went to get him tested. In the evening his breathing got worse and we took him to the ER. Turns out he had croup and his oxygen levels were already really low. I don't really understand doctors who are refusing care to young children when we know they get less infected by covid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally the doctors at this clinic are good. HOWEVER, the support staff need to be more accountable. In the past, with prescriptions and other things, I've needed to ask multiple times to have them sent to my pharmacy or needed to remind them because they're not the best at follow through. Things like that. More of a hassle than anything else.
Now the lack of consideration has hit a new low. In the last 2 months I have taken time off work for 2 separate appointments. Both appointments were cancelled without even a phone call to me! Nothing!
Even when rebooking after the first appointment was cancelled, the person I spoke with couldn't even be bothered to give me a weak apology... Like this is something that I should just accept... My time being wasted because they're too inconsiderate to pick up the phone? Seriously, this is an acceptable practice at the Edgewater Clinic?
Most businesses run well because of good support staff. Something to consider at the Edgewater Clinic.
Now I wonder if anyone at the clinic even cares enough to follow up on this review?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made an appointment weeks in advance to allow for my own work scheduling parameters. The doctor determined she would not be in on that date. The office called me to let me know she had cancelled my appointment and when I advised I needed more notice to reschedule, they said they would call back with a solution.
They did not call back.
Terrible service, unprofessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited an hour to see the dr and I even had an appointment booked. I finally got in to see the dr, who then explained that he wasn’t able to help me for what I came in for! I needed an intramuscular injection for one of my medications that said it needed to be done by a healthcare professional. The receptionist confirmed when I booked my appointment that it could be done by the dr on site. If this dr is not competent enough to perform a simple injection, then maybe he should not be practicing. Also didn’t bother wearing a mask… What a complete joke and waste of time coming to this clinic. I ended up going to a Shoppers drug mart where the pharmacist there was happy to do this for me no problem. I should have just done that to begin with.

The staff were friendly, attentive and the place was clean.
Left satisfied and relieved... knowing I had everything I needed to breath properly.
Will be returning thanks to the care I received.

Dr. Journi is a wonderful doctor. He takes time to get to know his patients and patiently explains your treatment plan.
