I booked for moving 3 weeks in advance, when the time came no one showed up. I even called in the day before hand to confirm. I called the day of and they said they would contact me and never did. Unless you want your time wasted and for your movers to not show up I recommend not booking with them.

They were half an hour late to my place to start moving.They were extremely slow in moving my things out of the old address. The same for when they were putting the boxes in my new place.They were putting my boxes down without any respect at all that I had 2 dishes from my family heritage that were broken in many pieces. I can’t replace those dishes at all. Please don’t waste your time and money on this company. It is not worth the headache. I will never use this company again.If you want a great moving company get Chinook Moving.

Have used this company since 2016! A different group of guys came then the usual but they were great! I needed a rush delivery from Calgary and they came threw same day without any extra charge! Earl was very kind and we had a good chat and a few laughs during the move! They use all the right equipment to ensure your belongings don’t get damaged. All my stuff was in the same condition after the move. Have all the right insurance as well. If you need something delivered fast, affordable, and efficient then call these guys !

I had a terrible experience with this company and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a mover to look elsewhere. They dropped my couch on my stone staircase, not only displacing a support beam on the couch but also cracking a tile step into many pieces. 3 months later they have not fixed either with plenty of opportunities to do so. I have since sent a receipt for the bill when I had another company fix the tile and the owner is completely unresponsive. When the incident first happened he said to me "this wont end up well for you in small claims court" after damaging my property! The owner does not care about your property and has obviously got away without paying other customers in the past because he knows how time consuming it would be. Do yourself a favour and hire any other moving company but this one. They are a pathetic excuse for a business.

Run in the opposite direction. We booked our move about one month in advance and clearly communicated our needs and expectations verbally and in writing (email/text) with clear confirmation from the company that everything could be accommodated. On moving day, the movers arrived 30 minutes late with no prior communication. We had to follow up via text to figure out what was going on. Upon arrival, the driver backed right into our front steps. No acknowledgment of the incident, not even an apology. As they started moving everything it quickly became very clear that they had very little to no experience packing a truck. Items were thrown into the truck with little to no care. We've incurred damage at both properties as well as to our personal belongings. After discussion with the owner, and several texts and emails, we have had no follow-up action from this company to remedy any of it. The communication with the onsite coordinator was terrible. Having used this company in the past, we were confident they were the moving experts and would guide us through the process. This was not the case - the receptionist, Nancy and the onsite coordinator, Bobbi advised us that we should know how much staffing would be required in order to complete the move same day. At 5 pm, there was so much work that needed to be completed (as acknowledged by the site coordinator, and yet, he sat in his vehicle texting and talking on the phone while the 2 other men worked and worked - without even a lunch or dinner break. The coordinator was arrogant and tried to be intimidating. In the end, an additional five individuals were called in to assist with the move - which was finished at 11 pm. Moving is already stressful enough.... The last thing you need to do is hire a company like this. Run, run, run in the opposite direction. In addition.. I had 2 conversations with the owner of the company who empathized with my situation. He assured me there will be some followup and made a commitment that a resolution would be reached within one week. Since then.. we have confirmed damage to multiple other items. Office chair.. mattress.. I have sent several emails to Nancy. The emails have not been acknowledged and the company has gone silent. This move cost $1,975.00. This move should have cost about 1,400. The courtesy of a response has been requested.. the silence is sending a very strong message.. run, run, run... in the opposite direction. Worst service in 2021! Show more

I used this company to move my 3 bedroom townhouse into another 3 bedroom townhouse. These movers were on time, and they were quick. Packed up my place in 2-3 hours. Very friendly crew would definetly recommend. We had tight areas and there was no damages in either homes. Thanks again for making my move stress free. Will hire again in the future!

On October 31, 2021, I contacted Nancy at the Cheaper Movers to book a household move on November 30, 2021. We have used the company previously with good results, and the response was almost immediate and the move was booked. On November 6, 2021, I followed up with Nancy just want to confirm with you what the truck size will be for our move on November 30. I am asking because we will have substantially more items to move than the previous move. We have a full garage of boxes, and furniture, as well as the house - upstairs and downstairs, and a shed with tools. just want to confirm with you what the truck size will be for our move on November 30. Nancy immediately responded and said We will be sending 2 16 foot trucks as our 26 footer is currently down. But 2 16 foot trucks gives you 32 feet which is bigger then our bigger truck! There’s no extra cost on your end for 2 trucks of course, but just don’t be alarmed when you see 2 trucks pull up! That also should be lots of time for the movers to get all your belongings into the truck no problem at all! Fast forward to the day - movers were late - not prior notice - we had to confirm they were coming. Within 30 minutes of arrival, it was obvious these were not experienced movers - Considerable damage was incurred to several items. At 5 PM after an escalated discussion with Nancy and the movers, it was confirmed that we would need to bring in additional help (5 people) in order for the move to be completed same day - all at our expense of course . This move cost we double, and when all the issues and concerns were shared, a phone call was received from the owner of the company - with some promise to followup - fast forward almost 7 weeks - no response from the company - filed an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau - no acknowledgement to them - today, I have been advised that BBB will be closing the file - after multiple attempts to contact the client - it is UNANSWERED. I am investing the time to share the story in hopes that others who are making arrangements to move will read this and continue their search for a reliable and reputable company who stands behind their service. Poor Value; Not Responsive ; Poor Quality; Poor Service - If I could give a - review, I would - first time ever!
