★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a new tenant who's going to move in Northbank soon. So far, I’ve met Heather, a leas agent, and wanna say a big thanks to her for her time and patience. The nice agent who we met, the suits' layout and gorgeous view were reasons why we selected this property. However, I read comments and honestly, I'm feeling frustrated about our new home!!
This rate is just for Heater, but I'll edit it later or write a new comment when I'll experience living here about the most important issues that I've read about such as:
management, safety in the area, electricity provider, overcharging, and heating in winter.
I really hope that the management company (maintenance company) see the significance of tenants' reviews!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building itself is lovely. The gym is very nice. Suite is wonderful.
Management is atrocious. God forbid you need to contact them about literally anything because you WILL NOT hear back. Parking is an absolute nightmare. There are cars in the parkade with six inches of dust suggesting they havent been moved in quite some time yet the lease says the parkade shouldn't be used to "store unused vehicles". If they would get their butts in gear and organize their system it would go a long way to improving life here.
They need to seriously reassess their management team because at this point they're more concerned with getting people to sign a lease than they are with keeping tenants past a year.
Because they are wonderful, friendly and responsive when they're trying to woo you into signing a lease. Once your fate is sealed, they essentially ghost you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love living here, the view is great, the apartment is beautiful, the amenities are fine. I asked them to fix the dog park fence to a small cheap one otherwise my dog cannot play there (she runs away), and they never did hear me. The company's name changed from timbercreek to Hazelview, and most of the admin team is super helpful. Especial attention has to be given to Andrew, Roger and Enis! They are members of the maintenance team, and they are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and quick. Every time I needed their help, they were on point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THIS COMPANY IS ACTUALLY RIDICULOUS! I cannot fathom how angry and frustrated I am. They so quick to take ur money but when it’s urs ? They claim 10-15 business days and yet THATS A LIE. Management is trash. The employers are ridiculous and slow. My whole experience with them has been nothing but agitating. ? do better x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Property manager constantly changing and never able to find anyone to solve any issues. Car got towed when we were paying for the stall on time, clothes got threw away when we have been advised to use other unit for laundry purposes, washing machine broke down flooded the floor 2 years ago and floor still remain the same. Last week dishwasher leaked and we filled the maintenance request which has not been heard back for around 4 days. Always only one elevator working during the weekend.
overall the unit is nice with a great price, but once you settled in so hard to find anyone to solve the issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor tenant management services. Difficult to get a response from anyone without ccing the upper management. Lazy and disrespectful communications. My partner showed up to our scheduled move out inspection and nobody from Hazelview showed up EVEN AFTER WE CONFIRMED DATE AND TIME ON THE DAY OF THE INSPECTION. Blatant disrespect towards tenants. Would not recommend to new renters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I applied for a suite and after not hearing anything back from them for over two weeks they told us we didn't make enough as full time workers with a co signer. We decided to cancel the application and it took them over 3 months to reimburse our security deposit. After calling multiple times and them telling me the postal company lost the cheque we finally went to pick it up. After depositing the cheque (that was issued a month after our cancelled application and they kept it for 2 more months) the cheque bounced and our banking was out another $500.00 we never got back. When we called the company they said they would send our issue to head office and we have not heard from them since August 2021.
