Doogan pet store was great. We bought our cockapoo puppy through them and the staff were helpful and very understanding. Toby is now 5 months old and has become the most important member of our family in his own mind?. Thanks to all the staff!

This place really cares about the animals and makes sure they are well cared for! The staff is super friendly and love catching up with the pets they gave forever homes to! I fell in love with these 2 (dark is Sam Winchester, blonde is Dean) I just want everyone to know, no matter what kind of animal you choose here, or chooses you in my case, these lovely people have your back!

*ATTENTION ANYONE INTERESTED IN GETTING A BUNNY AT DOOGANS PET STORE* PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!! I RECOMMEND LIBBYS LOPS A WONDERFUL BREEDER! MY VET CONFIRMED SHES AN AMAZING SOURCE FOR PUREBREAD HEALTHY BABY BUNNY’S THAT HAVE HAD BEEN SOCIALIZED AND COME WITH CERTIFICATES! I bought a “Netherland dwarf” bunny from this location a couple years ago. The pet store employee at that time recommended the worst possible products that were realistically not suitable long term for a rabbit. I’m desperately hoping they’ve changed since then. Not only did the advice and info they give me mislead me into nearly neglecting my rabbit until I found online sources to educate myself properly. I assumed the employee would know exactly what would be suitable for a pet rabbit (considering they are “taking care” of them until they’re bought and are literally selling these precious babies to anyone) The cage was probably appropriate size for a hamster and they said that’d be fine. The bedding they suggested actually is harmful for rabbits long term. The bottles are not an adequate source of water- rabbits need clean/fresh water out of a bowl and unlimited access. As my rabbit grew I noticed she didn’t resemble a Netherland dwarf at all (which she was advertised as)- I did the research it’s most likely she could have been a mix but prob didn’t actually have Netherland dwarf in her genetics at all. THANK GOD I DID MY OWN THOROUGH RESEARCH when it comes to the set up a pet rabbit should have and how to care for them. I was completely ignorant to rabbit and rabbit care when I got her and I should have been more prepared but I did exactly as the pet store directed me at the time. I really hope they’ve changed their recommended products and urge the new rabbit owners to do thorough research as rabbits are a LOT more difficult and high maintenance than one would assume and are a lot more sensitive to health complications than one would assume. ****** ID HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAVING A VET/EMERGENCY SAVINGS BEFORE BRINGING BUNNY HOME- this should be common sense for pets especially cats and dogs but I can’t stress the importance of this among pet rabbits.If you don’t know what you’re doing your bunny could be fine when you go to sleep and dead when you wake up. You need to know about GI STASIS and all possible health complications in rabbits. DO RESEARCH ONLINE BEFORE HAND- rabbits shouldn’t be caged but if they are they should have a large dog crate at the LEAST and be let out for 6 - 8 hours a day for exercise. They CANT throw up- they have to be able to digest whatever they swallow. They’re a prey animal so they have opposite instincts to a cat in a lot of ways. DONT PUT THEM IN A “TRANCE” (google bunny in trance risk). There’s a lot to know to take proper care of your fur baby!!!! DO THE RESEARCH AND GET YOUR BUNNY FROM A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BREEDER LIKE LIBBYS LOPS OR ADOPT FROM SHELTERS

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Please read further down reviews and don’t support this place! What kind of a pet store sells puppies anymore?! Was in here looking around with my husband for a treat for our dogs and saw a miniature poodle puppy in a crate with holes all over the bottom. This is a mini dog with mini paws! We watched the poor thing get his/her back paw caught in one of the holes and was screaming, then began to limp around, with no one coming to help…. so sad ? why? Why did this poor animal not even have something put down under him/her? How many times a day does this happen?What kind of a human being would do this? You take a tiny, helpless animal like that and stick it in this cage all day long and ignore it? First and last time in here, the owners and staff should be ashamed of themselves. I mention the staff because they have a part in watching this happen. Disgusting!

I brought my dog here for grooming. He’s a very nervous dog for grooming and had a previous bad experience at a different groomers. The ladies at doogans were amazing! Patient and so friendly!! I’ll definitely be back again! Great staff excellent customer service! My dogs cut looks awesome and they even gave him a bandana!

Fantastic pet store, clean, well stocked and great friendly, and knowledgeable staff! The animals seem well cared for, and the staff took the time to ensure I was well prepared for my new pet axolotl! She ensured I had what I needed, explained how to care for him, and gave me the information I needed to continue with his already started habits. I was thrilled by the health of my axolotl, and how well he was already eating! I even received a personal email after to check in. Really happy with the whole experience, and quality of this pet store!
