β β β β β I rented e-bikes with my partner the same day that I dropped off a bike for a tune up and a couple of upgrades. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. My bike was ready by the time we returned from our ride which was great. I will definitely return there for bike rentals or repairs!

β β β β β I visited 4 other bike shops in the downtown core looking for a sturdy bike basket that could safely transport my dog around the city. Far from the underwhelming service and product knowledge I experienced in some of these stores, Jude and Cory at Cycle City Bike Shop gave me what I was looking for and then some. Cory went the extra mile and even customized my preferred basket so it would work with my bike. Thank you Jude and Cory for such a great experience. Iβve already sent over a few friends for their bike and doggie basket needs! Highly recommend!

I have a broken front break line for a different brand of bike that they normal don't have service for, but the technician still help me replace it. He also noticed and help me aliments my handle, front wheel that I crashed long time ago.

β β β β β It's really great to find a place that is honest and up front to their customers. I brought my bike in to get a flat tire repaired, and I asked to have both changed since I thought the other one would be going soon. The mechanic told me that it really isn't an issue with bike tires, so he saved me some cash which I really appreciate instead of making an easy sale to someone as ill informed as I am. And the quote he gave me was spot on. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Thanks again for the great service!

β β β β β These guys are hands down THE guys to deal with when purchasing a bike. I have recently made the decision to invest a considerable amount of money on a new road bike. Before making my final choice on make and model I had visited a couple of stores here in Kits...(service was terrible) and rode a couple of bikes.
I then decided to call around to see if one of the local Vancouver stores had the make/model/size I was most interested in. I am Thanking my lucky stars I rang City Cycles on Hornby St. Nick answered the phone and the rest is history. That same day I drove into Downtown and made my purchase. Nick and Lucas were straight up, super helpful, super knowledgeable and just good cats to deal with.
I strongly recommend these guys for your next bike.

The bike rental included orientation and a quick guide to the city and what can we cover. Gave quick tips on what to avoid, pretty much a good experience.

β β β β β I was visiting Vancouver from Washington with my Wife to bike around Stanley park and the city when my brand new bike chain (Installed by a professional during a tune up at REI in WA) snapped while about half a kilometer from this bike shop. I happened to see the sign earlier while biking and walked my bike over hoping for some quick help.
Demetrius? Or Demetrio? (Sorry I cant remember the name exactly) not only got me a new chain installed in 15 minutes while I was standing there - but he also tuned up my derailleurs (which might have caused the chain snap) and my brakes - and took a look at my wifeβs bike to make sure it was okay as well. The extra tune up was free! He just charged for the chain and chain install.
I couldnβt recommend this place more. The bike feels like new, the new chain works great, and I was able to have a lovely day biking around the city and park after this like I had planned.
