I normally don’t write reviews, but I was so impressed with the service I was receiving from Emiko that I wanted to share my wonderful experience in dealing with her so that others can request for her when shopping at the boutique. I live in Edmonton, and we do not have a Chanel boutique in the city and all my correspondence with her is done over texting. She is so quick to respond and will answer all your questions patiently. She is extremely thorough and will send you detail photos of the item you are looking to purchase. She is honest and upfront with letting you know whether she can get the item or not. I have been buying luxuries for a little over 5 years and I have to say that Emiko is a gem. She has helped me find some of my dream bags and I’m forever grateful. Most SA wouldn’t care or go out of their way to help you when you don’t live in the city and cannot go to the boutique. Emiko makes you feel valued and will go out of her way to help you find the items you are looking for. I feel so lucky to have her as my SA and I highly recommend her to anyone! She is amazing to deal with.

I've been to this location twice, terrible experience both times. The first time, the SA talking to me did not stop looking at her phone even once while talking to me. I wanted a specific bag which was out of stock, but if she had at least looked at me I would've loved to discuss other options. Went to this chanel location again today, there were multiple people working and not one person even acknowledged my presence. Someone walked in AFTER me while I had been waiting for a while, and they talked to her cause they already knew her. It wasn't as though I was dressed shabby or anything (not that it should matter) but the sales associates would only speak to you if they already know you. Save your dignity and go to Hermes or Dior where they will always treat you with respect. I don't know if such rudeness is part of the Chanel branding to keep things exclusive, but I there is no excuse for it.

Very Disappointed by the service and the greeting today I was about to buy my first Chanel classic double flap bag, I was actually lucky to see that the bag that I wanted for so long was actually in stock surprisingly . But the sale person wasn't pleasant at all , a young African lady who is not smiling , not a warm lady at all, she didn't talk to me , barely looked at me .. so for me, she completely ruined the experience that I was expecting . Especially in a luxury store. I was thinking: is it really worth it to buy with this sales person?? I may be happy with my bag but not with the service...And I want something memorable. So I left the boutique, very disappointed. I went to the flagship store, where the greeting was so much pleasant and the sales representative took care of me very well. I will never return to this store at Holt Renfrew. And actually it is not the first time, last time, I was just browsing, and the sale person was rude to me. But I didn't say anything because I wasn't planned to buy at that time.

After experiencing terrible customer service from the sales associates at the Chanel in Yorkdale Mall location, I immediately called this location and Sofia (I believe her name was) - who is the boutique manager I believe, not even a sales associate…quickly answered all the questions I had very efficiently, helped put a bag and card holder aside and assisted me very genuinely and honestly with my purchase. She admitted to not being a sales associate and almost wanted to apologize for not working “so fast” after the transaction was completed and I would’ve never known that she wasn’t if she didn’t tell me, that’s how good she is! She’s very informative and before I left, she made sure I had the contact of one of the sales associates there for future, if I ever needed any assistance. Great customer care and service here. Will definitely be back!

I've seen some of the bad reviews and I'm not doubting their experience but I guess I got lucky because the salesperson who helped me was super sweet and patient. I was looking for a very specific style and she went out of her way to find me all the bags in the style I wanted from the stock room. Honestly, I even thought I was overly difficult as I took time to take a decision but she kept smiling and reassured me that I could take my time and was super understanding as on to why I really wanted to love the handbag I'd pay for. I'm happy with my purchase but also with the woman who so kindly helped me.

Really impressed by Chanel Bloor Street's service, especially from your associate - Alicia Lee. Had a hard time finding an Anniversary gift for my girlfriend at first (covid made it 10 times harder because stores were closed), but i thought I'd give it a shot and called this location. Alicia answered, gave me her number so she could send me pictures of your products so I could see it in its actual form, gave her honest opinions, and she was there every step of the way. The whole process took about a month, but through her awesome service, patience, and speedy response, we managed to pick a gem. She packed it really awesomely too! Thanks Alicia!! Lady Boss is happy!! I'm happier! Highly recommend seeking Alicia Lee for any assistance! Her service is 10/10. Not even exaggerating. I'd be selling her short if I gave her anything less. Cheers!

GO TO ANOTHER STORE TO SPEND YOUR $$$$ and stop acting like I owe you guy MY MONEY. To be honest I went to 3 channel store that day and I love this piece. Usually, I don't give much love to channel bag. But the staff was terrible. The African girl who severs us is unbelievable. She super talks less. Only talk when we ask and only yes or no. make my mood turn down 100% and I didn't get the bag for myself. After my sis decided to buy 5-6 items. She talk a little bit more. Like...” oh...yeah.cash or card?!” ;))) They can compete with Hermes staff for now.

This is my first time writing a bad review, that is how horrible my experience was here. On Thursday, after hearing that the product I had been wanting for a year was coming in, I started waiting in line outside at 5am and was second in line. Around 6am more people started lining up behind us. The couple in front of me was very sweet, telling us a lot of info about the products and making sure it was in stock. When the center opened at 11am, we all finally started going inside after 6 hours of waiting outside in the freezing cold (it was –10 degrees with snow), expecting to get the product I had wanted right away. But suddenly people started running in from the second floor who had been waiting at a different door. 4 teams went in before me and the couple in front and I barely made it inside. We never heard there was another door and the employees saw us waiting outside and never informed us of this. There were only a few stocks available for the product I was lucky enough to get but if I was even a little bit behind the line, I probably would have been unable to get the product I had waited 6 hours in the cold for. When the lady in front of me started complaining on behalf of everyone that was waiting in line outside, the manager started yelling at her in front of everyone. The lady helped people that were in line also get the products they wanted but ended up not getting anything for herself even though she waited the most out of all of us. I was shocked to see how horrible the staff treated their customers at a luxury brand. Chanel should care about employing staff that cares about providing adequate service to the customers, those that are at the very least respectful. I hope they make sure no other consumer is harmed like this ever again . I hope they make sure no other consumer is harmed like this ever again and I wish to thank the lady in front of me once again.
