Worst Canadian Tire Center I use. Small and cramped. Usually never has what I need. Staff are not friendly. The garage is being used as a warehouse.

Needed new tire because of a blow out last night. Took my car in and within 5 minutes of being there they had already started. Even without an appointment. Excellent service. Thank you to everyone

If George is managing your store according to your wishes, I will not be back to the Perth Canadian tire ever again. "Helping our communities grow and thrive...for over 100 years!" - that is one of Canadian Tire's slogans. I have routinely shopped at my local Canadian Tire in all the communities I have lived in for decades. I now live in Perth, Ontario on a small farm. In rural communities neighbours are quick to help each other at a moments notice without hesitation. However, despite the image they project, Canadian Tire turns its back on the very community it serves in times of crisis. When the May 21, 2022 storm rolled through we were hit with some destruction and amongst various things, a huge oak limb fell and crushed our front gate and blocked our driveway. We had two of our adult children trying to make their way home via air travel and they were stuck at the Toronto Airport. We needed to clear about 3 tons of wood from our driveway before we could get a passenger vehicle out to make the drive to Toronto and go and get them. I managed to get to the Canadian Tire using our single cab farm truck to traverse the ditch only to find out they were out of power and closed. I motioned to an employee from the door indicating I wanted to speak to them. I eventually got "George" who is apparently the store manager. I explained to George that we were blocked in and needed to remove a giant fallen limb but I needed 2 stroke oil and some chainsaw bar oil. He said they were having an emergency as the store was out of power. I suggested that he could provide the products to me now and I'd pay for them later. I would have liked to explain that he could take a photo of my driver's license and credit card as security for the $30-40 worth of merchandise. I didn't really get the chance. He scoffed at me and said 'we don't work that way'. The whole time, he barely looked up from his phone! Here was someone from the local community asking for help, and George had zero interest in trying to understand the problem or thinking of whether there was a way that he could help out. "We are out of power, it's a store emergency, we can't do anything for you goodbye." Zero compassion. Zero consideration. I do not think for a second that my situation was the worst crisis anyone was facing at that time. However, being unable to leave your property, especially in a rural setting, can become an emergency quite quickly, and in any event we needed to pick up our kids who had been trying to get home for several days. The point is, that "George" COULD have found a way to help and chose to simply not even consider the possibility. Canadian Tire is a private company and is entitled to do business however they see fit. However, to leverage your involvement in helping and growing communities, only to turn your back on community members when they come to you for help, without even considering what you could possibly do is shameful. I will not be back to Perth's Canadian Tire. If this treatment is representative of Canadian Tire policy, then I will abandon Canadian Tire altogether.

Had trouble getting staff's attention for assistance finding a price and gettong more information about the product I needed a price for. Spent like 10 mins trying to find the staff I needed for my price check and finally found three of them from different departments all standing together on their phones sort of 'hiding' near the bicycles/toys. They were EXTREMELY HELPFUL once I found them but until then Google does the same thing....

My favourite place for some products but have given up on their service group. This is my second ctire store that I will not go for car service. Something is really off. They seem to have lost some good people and now what they’re left with is still in training. I really hope they wake up.
