Amazing place I’d recommend the camp ground to my friends or just people in general great family place amazing view and great management!!

Owners don't care. Place in disrepair. Go someplace else. Charge you a fortune. This is the same with all the resorts they own. Green Road, Sunset Cove and Waltonian Inn, you will certainly be disappointed.

I have stayed at this Camp and Cottages over the past 4 years. The owner of the property actually has several properties on Lake Nipissing. The cottages are nice, with A/C, large windows, full kitchen, and widescreen TV. They are located right along the water front, and are seconds from walking out on the docks. Callander Bay is a great place to be when the winds are coming out of the wrong directions to get out on the main part of the lake. Since the owner let go Jeff and Wendy, the camp has really gone down hill. If I would of written this review 4 years ago it would of been a "3". Dan (also own's Sunset Cove) has simply turned the place into a cash cow for himself. Little or not maintenance has been done since the first year we were here. The management will do what they can to please you, but their hands are tied. Most of the cabins lack supplies (pans, silver wear, etc.), and they simply have to borrow from the unrented ones to keep you in basic items while you are here. The boats have gone to absolute desolate condition. Every year here has been more of a challenge to have an operating boat. If I didn't know how to repair, wire, and test out circuits on the boat - I simply would have been without one. Again - the owner knows the situation and has done little to address the situation. There are a lot of campers, camping, and seasonal trailers on site - and this seems to be where they are making their money. There use to be a waiting list for cabins, but no more. I have had it with the facility until they decide to return to their old ways. I know the 3 cabins rented this week will not be back.

Let's start with the view.. it is absolutely priceless!! The staff is just as great and there's so many options.. cottages , campers, trailers and tent areas.. the fishing is great as well! There's laundry facilities and a park for the kids as well.. lots of friendly people from all over the world!

I've been coming here for eighteen year and i have nothing but great things to say. They workers here treat you like family and the park is always clean. i have to laugh at the "catherine barrow" comment, she clearly has never stayed at bayview camp in callander , EVER as her bogus review talks about swimming pool?? there has never been a swimming pool here, so get it straight lady, you look like an idiot. in response to the "cindy bazinet" review, i was told by her neighbour, she is angry with the fact she was evicted from another location for her inability to pay rent as all her money fed her addiction, and her bad behaviour, theft included, rendered her to be evicted. in the bogus reviews, they do state to see for yourselves, i think you will agree that bayview camp is truly a fantastic place, very family oriented, great staff, awesome group of people. yes come see for yourself, then we can all get a laugh over these bogus reviews, even funnier that these people have NEVER been to bayview camp. get a life people!

I'v camped there last year, and found it to very dirty, the washrooms smelled and were extremely dirty and of August 10th. 2017 the pool was closed by the city for reason to me, unknown when I viewed the pool it look fogey and unclean and the washrooms were still in great need of cleaning as they smell horrible The picnic tables are all shaky and falling apart. where you dock the boats it is also falling apart and in great need of serious repair the only thing I can say that is positive is that the grass was cut and they have big beautiful trees surrounding the park.

The camp isn’t what it used to be. The manager Nancy aka the “mayor” has absolutely no customer service skills. She is incapable of civil conversation and has no flexibility in her “rules” I parked my fifth wheel there as a place to live for work. The experience lasted 24 hours. Upon arrival, the tree limbs that she promised to have trimmed hadn’t been done. She did offer for her maintenance person to help but instead came back to assist my husband in cutting a 6 inch branch with a Saws-all. After borrowing a chainsaw, my husband managed to cut the branch. My folks stopped in to assist us in setting up. The next morning, Nancy’s “Maintenance” person showed up to fix a leaky tap in the unoccupied site next to us. He stood and looked at it and then wailed his hammer on the fixture as though that might work. He grumbled something to my husband about having to wait for his brother. My husband figured he’d be given the courtesy of notification (a simple tap on the door) when the water would be turned off and went to have a quick shower. The shower ended abruptly when the water was turned off. A comment to the maintenance guy was simply that it would have been good customer service to let him know. The maintenance person also lacks “people” skills. This camp won’t last long under the current management. It’s obvious that the seasonals carry this place. The treatment received by Nancy was abhorrent. She is a power fiend who lives for the control over the people. No flexibility or negotiating skills (or listening skills) I was attacked verbally and was told that she would make a decision as to whether I’d be allowed to stay (as though I had done something horrific) I took away her power when I left the camp in less than 24 hours...she is a weak sole without grace. I hope it was your boss that you had call me Nancy. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was your husband so that you could hide how inept you are at your job. Good bye and good riddance.
