★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I picked up my Budget rental at the Vancouver airport. It was extremely fast and only took a few minutes. The service was excellent - friendly, professional, efficient with good humour. I also appreciate that their forms are digital so less paper wastage. Drop off assistance was immediate and efficient. Thanks Budget!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dear Budget Rental Staff,
On May 7th we returned our vehicle at Vancouver International Airport. In our haste I left my mobile phone on top of the vehicle. This went unnoticed until we were checking in for our flight. We hurriedly ran back to where we left our rental vehicle, but it was already on its way to be cleaned (to Budget's credit, this is a very quick turnaround). We were fortunate to see one of the gentlemen that assisted us 10 minutes prior. With a series of networking by phone and yelling and running, the vehicle was stopped before it could go through the car wash. Upon returning with the vehicle, the attendant said "it's not in the vehicle", but just as I reiterated it was on top, I spotted it, resting safely on the sunroof.
What could have been a very stressful few days was instead a day of relaxation and a very long sigh of relief.
Thank you Budget and especially the chaps who rose to the occasion unimaginably well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so happy and HUGELY impressed with my experience with Budget at Vancouver Airport. However, once I dropped off the car they placed a charge on my credit card and no one can tell me what it is for ($40). I called the call centre and they said the bill was paid in full when I placed the order months earlier for the car and there should be no bill, they said they would call me back and didn't. I called the location I rented from and one other location an no one has returned my call. It is infuriating because this same thing happened with Enterprise last year but for a much larger amount ($690) and it was all because they billed my car insurance incorrectly and decided to bill me instead. Not a great experience with these sort of companies and you are at their mercy because they have your credit card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall experience was great, convenient and easy, and no sneaky tactics I've experienced with other rental companies. Only thing for me is that I opted to not drop off with a full tank of gas and was surprised by how much extra that cost. My expectation was that I would pay for gas used + a premium for convenience. It looks like I ended up paying for a full tank of gas + the premium for convenience. I think that could have been explained to me better before hand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a car last week and my experience was amazing. The employee was very nice and knowledgeable. I had no issue with the pickup nor the drop off. The car was clean and new. They didn’t charge my anything extra, there was only a 15$ different between the reservation online and the price at pickup, but that’s expected.
I would definitely book again, it’s very convenient from the airport!

Wait for more than 30 min and no car available, but someone suppose going to YXX to pick up a vehicle and they can get it in 20 minutes.
Better don't pay in advance and just say I went to wrong place and they can give you a vehicle!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience with this Budget location - the service was quick and expedient for our pre-booked SUV rental, both for pick-up and drop off. They also gave us a nicer model of SUV than we originally booked which was a lovely bonus. No issues!
