From the start of my trip when I rented and secured a small SUV but instead received a gas guzzling huge van, to getting a flat tyre, no spare, and spending 2 hours on the phone with their roadside assistance team, customer service, and local offices. I was told to call multiple locations, was transferred around from roadside assistance to customer service to my call being completely cut THREE TIMES. I was put on hold at least 15 different times, it was a circus I can't believe how they handle customers. I payed for the optional CDW as well, what is the point? They are ridiculous and I have never experienced a rental car service like this before, an absolute joke.

We had originally picked a compact but Maria suggested we take a sedan because it handled better in the snow and upgraded us at no extra cost. We ended up exploring some logging roads so we were glad to have made the switch! We had no issues and although they had limited staff, they provided excellent customer service.

I was first met by Luca who was friendly, funny, professional and truly seemed to enjoy his job. I mentioned my billing issue and he handed me off to the manager Joshua. Again, friendly, professional and extremely competent. He sorted out everything in short order and off I went. I highly recommend the Alamo crew at YVR. Well done!

There is not any hidden fee or extra insurance. The staff showed me the final charge on his machine (the same as reservation) before final payment. It was a clean car. Recommended!

With gas being astronomical lately, Carlos even applied a discount which was very much appreciated! I also realized that I had to enter the airport to get to the Uber pickup point, but I didn't have a mask with me. Again, Carlos went above and beyond and offered a mask which was completely sealed. Great customer service by this gentleman!
R	Right On on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is slow, and then there is really slow. Back wards way of doing things, single server and then you are in a pile waiting for the guy to get your car. Don't rent from here, easy too ineffective and ineffecient. Sadly they had the best price on Costco. There has to be a better way, would be nice if they made you feel we mattered . Increased the rating one star later on because the car was beautiful, new and clean.
