★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I came from Vancouver and stayed at the Black Sea Motel for a few days. We had an extremely pleasant stay and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I am definitely coming back here and I would highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Certainly one of the best place to stay in Penticton. Not expensive, the room was nice and clean, with what you need for vacation, but the location is AWESOME!!!! We had a room right across the beach and the view is one of the best. The motel is close to all the restaurants on Lakeshore and the owners are such nice and friendly people! They will help you with anything you need. Definitely recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location but everything else was terrible. The guy up front wasnt friendly at all and wouldnt give us a wifi password. Parking was absolutely barbaric. It was like a free for all half of the problem was nobody knew how to park between the lines and you were never gauranteed a spot. The room was a spider sanctuary I actually got bit by one in the room and my ankle was swollen for 2 days. The one stove element didnt work neither did the toaster and the bed was very uncomfortable I would not recommend this place to anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location. Motel was clean. No cutlery though. Biggest issue with this place is that the man that owned the place took one look at our group of 4 girls and said "you look nice but NO alcohol, NO drugs, NO boys and NO parties." It was extremely judgemental and aggressive. He put us into a stereotype just because we are young women enjoying a weekend away. And that evening, there was a family with their door open taking shots and laughing and conversing and the owners didn't seem to have a problem with them. It really left a negative energy with us as we first checked in. Definitely never coming back just for those first comments made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No hot water, the owners were horrible to us on our honeymoon!! Tried scamming us multiple times, stood up to them and they were incredibly rude! had to change my credit card number because they wrote my card number down and tried to charge it multiple times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stay here for second time with the family. Very nice place, great to bring your kids. Located conviniantly to restaurants and just across the beach. The housts are incredible and always to your disposal. I would recommend Black Sea Motel.
