M	MidWorldLanes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed August 16 2021 in #129. Shower goes from scalding hot to freezing cold every 30 seconds, was almost impossible to use. Called to ask if there was a trick to it, was told it would be fixed but obviously never was. Window in the bathroom fell down on my girlfriend's finger and nearly made her nail die off it hurt her so badly. Beds were like cardboard on top of springs, donut and garbage all over floor when we checked in. Shower part was by far the worst thing about this, though. I've worked front desk at low-end motels and something's just are what they are, but a shower needs to actually work, as well as ideally not injure people. Only rating tow stars as opposed to one because when we came back late at night the front desk attendant was very quick about showing us where to go out back.

The room was full of ants, the shower didn’t work, the toilet was leaking so the bathroom floor was a filthy pool of toilet water, there were yellow stains on the mattresses, there are no closets and nowhere to store your things, disgusting stained dirty carpets, and no housekeeping at all. The staff member we dealt with was abrupt and unfriendly. You can’t even take out your garbage because their outdoor garbage bins & recycling bins are overflowing onto the motel grounds. The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the location. Right across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants & attractions. But there are plenty of other motels along this strip to choose from. We will NEVER return to Slumber Lodge.
O	Orchid S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location, though with a few perks. If you arrive after 9pm, there is no parking available. Very noisy and they do nothing to reinforce the 11pm quiet time. you can hear from room to room people talking, or laughing. And as for taking a shower, get ready for a special treat, you can get from burning hot water to ice cold in a matter of seconds, and this is happening for the entire time as you take a shower. Rooms are very clean, but considering a few things is hard to say we would stay here again. Not very welcoming front desk people as well.

M	Meghan de Jong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was double charged on my credit card for one night's stay and when I rung them to discuss they lied saying it was only a pre-authorization charge and it would be refunded... it hasn't been and I've asked Visa to investigate. It was quite run down as well and I wouldn't ever think of staying there again just based on the state of the room, despite the gorgeous location. I had to wait for someone to show up to even check in for 30 minutes at 5pm when I was only allowed to check in after 4pm - shocking!!! Nobody answered the phone when I called the number posted on the door in that time either!
V	Verified Hotel Guest on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location was excellent, right across the street from Okanagan Lake. The Staff was very accommodating, but clearly stressed about not have enough cleaning staff, as my room was not ready at 4:00pm. Negative: There is not enough parking, they were short cleaning staff, and the ones they have are over worked. It looked to me like our room was done quickly with not much attention to detail like cleaning the tub and vacuuming.
