Where to begin....while an attempt has been made to renovate, the level of service and professionalism was shocking. Stay away, this place does not deserve your hard earned money! At $600 a night for the "VIP" room we were left with 1 room key, dirty coffee maker, hidden wifi codes, faulty light and power switches, dirty windows that would not open, just enough toilet paper to get you out of trouble, and a "manager" with an entitled attitude and a clear substance abuse issue. To top it off we had the pleasure of staff and management drinking outside our window until 11 p.m. Tortured by "resort" music aggressively playing along for the entirety of the party we finally made the call to the "manager" (who herself appeared to be hosting the event). At 10 pm we asked politely for the music to be turned downed. Shortly after the call an individual came knocking on the door and immediately blurted out that the music is "resort" music and would be on untill 11 pm. She appeared to have been drinking and did not identify herself until my partner questioned who she was. We asked to see the "manager" who came to the room briefly after. She was quite obviously under the influence of alcohol at the very least, had a glowstick necklace on and could barely stand in one spot. We asked her to please turn down the music and she cut us off and citied noise bylaws said she could have music until 11. The next day I went to go check to see if we could get a second key as we had family with us and we had only been provided with one. The manager was so hungover she was of no assistance, saying it wasn't her fault the lock Smith wasn't open. Shocking. Disappointing. I can't understand how someone in a position such as hers could be so disdainful towards customers particularly when they were being obviously overcharged. She is an amateur inn keeper and even worse role model for her young staff. Dont be fooled by bright paint in the pictures, no amount of sloppy paint jobs and tacky nick nacks can make up for the level of unprofessionalism provided by your one Bonilynn. You can put lipstick on a pig but its still a one star dive with lazy hosts.

What a great motel, Doug, and Bonnie Lynn are great hosts so welcoming and accommodating. Just steps to the beach. Clean affordable rooms, close to all amenities. Can’t say enough about this place will always stay here when visiting Penticton!

We met the owner by sheer luck as we had another hotel booked downtown which was not what we had expected. She was so accommodating and found us an beautiful newly renovated 1 bdrm hotel. Every morning, there was fresh coffee, fruit and baked goods available to enjoy on the beach They took us on the river canal float, had bbq stations and fresh herbs available to use for dinner. We loved our stay here from July 8-11th and will definitely return ❤❤

I’ve stayed at Okanagan Lakefront Resort for over 5 years. This is a place I’ve booked over and over again. I find pride in small businesses and supporting them for extended periods of time. So this review is a bitter sweet one. Recently I stayed here for 3 nights (4 days). I booked a trip with my entire family. The day before arriving I checked the weather network, videos on social media and talked to the manager at the resort. She mentioned that the weather was entirely fine. Upon arriving, we realized this wasn’t the case. From wildfire smoke, the weather was severely unhealthy. I personally have respiratory issues that I’ve been going to my Physician for the past month. So I mention to this to the front desk and they said they could refund me for two remaining days, giving me my money back. After 15 minutes, the manager goes back on her decision and says she can’t refund me. She makes up a bunch of lies, saying it’s against policy, you can get refunded through your VISA, she can’t doing anything for us, etc. To lose years and years of business from 15+ people over a few hundred dollars is bad business. Customer service is very important and this motel doesn’t value it whatsoever. Please do not stay here. Save your money and go elsewhere. These people are bad for business and do not care about you. A few hundred dollars is more important than loyalty.

Absolutely amazing stay here! Right from the moment we arrived the management greeted us with open arms and big smiles! They made us feel like family! The rooms were clean, the pillows were plump and the extra little personal touches made you feel special! I would 100% recommend this resort to friends and family :)

The place is generally clean, and recently renovated. We see some cobwebs in the ceiling fan/lighting fixture but overall it is clean. Location is excellent. Staff are friendly. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit which faces the beach so the view is a bonus. Just love the convenience of the location so much we will consider staying here again in the future.

After that you can hear the Penticton Police Officer investigation.. The ironic thing is that this resort posted on its outside sign "snowbirds come stay under our wing to be safe and to breathe easy" Do not believe in the fake words and actions of BONI & DOUG. Had an absolute blast staying here! Everyone is super friendly (Especially Marley), and the whole place just puts off the most relaxing vibe. The location is excellent; right on the beach and just a short walk to lots of fun places. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. We didn't get a chance to fire up any of the barbeques that are there for guest use, but we'll definitely be back. ?
