I am a client of ATB and the institution has been very good to me on the business side of things. However at this particular location a lady that works as a teller is always extremely rude to me. Even when I have tried to be positive and polite to her.. Not how we like to conduct our business or how to treat your customers.

First of all I'd like to say that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Going into a bank especially ATB should be an extremely pleasant experience but it was far from that. Setting up the appointment to start up a business account was smooth and effortless. The customer service rep on the phone was very knowledgeable and explained how long it was going to be and what was needed in order to start. They were able to fit me into a time slot at the a time where my partners would be available as well. We were going to meet with a Lady named Angie at 5:30pm Upon getting there, Angie was available right away. She welcomed us into her office and at the start was very nice, she took all of our Identification and proceed with setting up the business account. 45 minutes later her toned changed and then she left the room. My partners and I waited for about 10 minutes and Angie came back in the room stating (it was now 6:30, 1 hour of waiting) that she would have to reschedule us for another appointment as she doesn't feel comfortable moving on. We were flabbergasted. We sat there for more than an hour and all of a sudden she is saying she is uncomfortable? She also said what we were doing was against protocol and that she wasn't allowed to set up a business account for us because the father signing on wasn't gonna be apart of the business? Many families put accounts and businesses under significant others or other family memberships no she wasn't able to state why she can't do it other than it being "protocol." We asked what protocol she was referring too and then she changed her reasoning for not helping us to she doesn't usually do business accounts and she just does personal accounts? Excuse me? Why are you helping us in the first place. We are a family of Indian decent and were completely offended in the way she was speaking to all of us and felt like she was just throwing excuses at us. We demanded to speak with a manager. She then got up, said "fine" then grabbed her phone and keys and literally ran out of the office. 10 minutes later, Sonia the branch Manager came in and resolved the situation very quickly despite the frustration and she stated that "No, we weren't doing anything wrong" and that because the branch is closing she won't be able to help us but that she would see us the following Saturday and she was very professional about the whole thing. Unfortunately upon going home and discussing everything, we felt the situation was completely unacceptable, very unprofessional and a complete waste of our time. We will be cancelling our appointment and taking our services to a different branch or a different bank all together. Someone as rude and ignorant as Angie was should not be working in a bank yet alone as a customer service rep AND a bank of ATB's stature should not be letting someone who only does personal accounts handle business accounts. Even as I type this out, I still cannot believe what happened. If you want good service please do not visit this branch.

I moved over to ATB a few months ago because my employer banked with them and it made it easier to get my cheque’s cashed. I LOVE this bank! This branch especially is amazing! The people there are always friendly and helpful. My kids love coming to this bank, they call it β€œthe fun bank”. Here you can see Eric giving my girls some β€œshark attack” flavour ice cream. Needless to say, it made their morning! At other banks I am worried the kids will wreck something and they are frowned at by the staff. Here they give them ice cream and once gave them each a teddy bear. Keep it up guys, the other banks will totally miss you guys surpassing them because their noses are too far up.

The staff is what makes this branch work. Management there is calm and courteous who are also very knowledgeable. Love the drive through ATM as it’s the closest one to me since the one in Symons Valley closed down (zero stars to the company on that one-the cost of innovation and transformation).

Staff here knows how to value client especially in regards with β€œtime”. I commend Kurt’s service, it was fast and awesome. We’re thinking to open an account in this branch because of the satisfaction of service that we experienced and located in a convenient place from were we live- it’s just 5 min. walk.

Fantastic customer service and follow up. I went in, NOT my regular branch, to just deposit a few business checks. Asked about an "odd" charge, and didn't think they'd look into it too far, as they are not my "home" branch. She (Jeni Guidi) looked into it, called me to keep me informed, and told me that it should be fixed (as per ATB "central"). On the first of the next month, Jeni took the time out of busy morning to ensure it had been fixed. When she noticed it hadn't, she emailed me just over 2 hours into the work day. You can not ask for a more diligent customer experience, and it's when things go wrong (like this odd charge), that you really notice how hard some bank employees work. If you have an extra minute, wait for Jeni to help with any banking needs. You won't be dissapointed.

I met with Kurt today to open a personal account and savings. I was pleasantly surprised with his level of service I wasn’t really expecting! He did a good job making me feel comfortable and made talking about my financials easy. He build good rapport with me and we even got off topic few times while chatting. I would recommend seeing Kurt Rubiano for any banking needs. I’m sure he treats everyone well and I don’t think you will be disappointed. I want to add he did not ask me to leave a review I felt like giving this feedback on my own!
