You don't find this very often these days. A true craftsman who knows what he's doing and treats you fairly. We've had watch batteries replaced, watch straps replaced and links removed while we waited, all for very reasonable prices. Beyond basic services this is a swiss trained expert with decades of experience. When I accidentally put a precious watch through the wash and dryer, he was able to replace the motion and now its working perfectly. I would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I unpacked a box with quite a few watches in it, and decided it was time to replace the batteries. I've been going to a big box store buy batteries, but they don't actually DO the work, they give you a selection of tools and then leave you alone to change them, or struggle doing it. I was tired of this, so decided to google a local watch shop. AJ came up as the closest, but did not know that they would be so good! The reviews were good, so decided to take a change. He changed all 6 batteries easily, did a basic cleaning on each, noticed the crown was loose so made a simple repair quickly (I was unaware there even was an issue!), AND showed me how to use the chronometer on one of my watches, all while I waited! So impressed that I'm now bringing an old wall non-functioning clock in for repair! Thank you for the quick service, great prices and going above and beyond!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service! John restored my late mother's old Bulova watch and my 150 year old key-wound Waltham pocket watch to perfect working order. The cost for these repairs was very reasonable. He has done other watch repair and maintenance for me, too. He knows his stuff and is very interesting to talk with. I feel lucky that he is available right here in Whitby. I have no hesitation in recommending him if you need any work done on a timepiece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ John is great! I took my grandfathers vintage rolex for a complete overhaul as it had stopped working for a long period of time. I was extremely hesitant at first because it was my first time at his shop but after a quick chat he gained my confidence. My watch came back in perfect working condition and now I have a watch to pass down as an heirloom. The price is reasonable and now I take all my watches to John. It's hard to find a trustworthy watch technician but now I found one in John.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ John is extremely knowledgeable, kind, professional, trustworthy and reliable. He fixed an antique wall clock with a pendulum that my Mom had given me. Mom's friend had given it to her in the 1970's. It had stopped working so I am grateful to have found AJ Watch and Clock Shoppe!!! I had called a clock repair place in Oshawa and the man said because it used a battery it was garbage and should be thrown out without even looking at it!! Thank God for John ? at AJ Watch and Clock Shoppe!?!!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very pleased to get my clock back. I took it there in Sept and just got it back today, Dec5. I only took it there to get it cleaned. There was nothing wrong with it that I was aware of. He said he wasn't happy with it so kept it longer. He did not charge me anymore than quoted originally. I can only assume he is very dedicated to his profession and hope my clock is okay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service from AJ Watch & Clock Shoppe! I had got my Omega Speedmaster serviced here. The price I paid was fair for the work done, much cheaper than if I had sent it to Omega. Additionally, he followed my requests in not polishing the watch/bracelet, something I likely could have not done with Omega. I would recommend to anyone looking to service their watch and I will definitely be coming back. Timely turn around.
