Reception is rude! I called to asked if she's taking new patience and I was told yes as I want to change my doctor. Right away I was told NO! She didn't even wait for my reasoning or anything.....If staff is this rude, could you imagine what the doctor is like?!

Great office. Receptionist is very friendly, I never have to wait which is such a bonus especially when you have children. Dr is straight forward which I appreciate, very knowledgeable and attentive.

absolutely horrible place if I could give 0 stars I would. staff is ignorant and arrogant. my daughters health card was renewed and version code was updated. the new code was with her mother and not able to give to them that moment but could have called it in when we got home from our appointment however we were turned away with out it. I tried to explain that either I could call it in later or simply just pay out of pocket for this visit. My main concern was to have my daughter seen by the dr we had an appointment for. after trying to reason with the receptionist (who could have advised that this code was needed when I made the appointment). a doctor came storming out saying basically they need the updated # to get paid and without it they wouldn't see my child. pretty F*&^%ing disgusting if you ask me! I get that they are paid through our government who heavily taxes their citizens in order to offer a pre paid health care system (not a free one) but when you as a doctor feel you need to turn away a sick child over a version code that was updated and not available to give you in that very moment perhaps you need to evaluate why you chose to practice medicine and second guess if maybe a pay up front system like USA better suits your personal desires.

Contrary to reviews Dr. McKechnie is great! She is friendly and makes me feel comfortable at all my appointments. She listens to my needs and ensures to give me the right solution whether it be antibiotics for an illness or physio for an injury. The office is never running late and receptionist is also friendly. This is a great office!

This woman is by far the worst doctor I have ever personally dealt with. Catherine, (I refuse to disparage her profession by calling her a doctor), had me a as a new patient when my family doctor retired. At the time Catherine accused me of wanting prescription medication for the health issues I was having and describing after vomiting up blood. I complained about back, stomach and chest pains and was also having blood in my stool (melena) after having an ulcer and not even getting a proper ultrasound (that was Oshawa hospitals fault though). Nevertheless, I told Catherine to kick rocks because she refused to provide me with testing that I had asked for and accused me of being a pill popper (I have never done that in my life or even had a prescription at that point). I ended up going to Markham Stouffville Hospital where their army of great doctors diagnosed me with a Stage 4 lymphoma. Stay away from this egotistical and judgmental doctor. You don’t treat patients by accusing them of an addiction and ignoring their ailments. FYI. I have only taken prescription pain killers intravenously once, and that was when the lymphoma in my stomach perforated from the chemo. STAY AWAY. 0 stars is the rating for this terrible person.
