A	Andrea MacKay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fiancé and I went into People's Southgate Saturday at 5pm. Although a busy time, we both felt like the sole attention of our great salesman Mark. We said we were there to find out his ring size and preffered width, and to see what different weddings bands look like with my emerald-cut engagement ring. We weren't planning on purchasing anything as we have a jeweler from my fiancé's hometown, but we didn't leave empty-handed! We asked if we could take pictures so we don't forget the different colors/ widths, and he thanked us for asking permission. Mark was careful to sanitize each and every ring we touched before and after trying them on. Much appreciated as one of us is immune- compromised. He also took the liberty to let us stay seated and grabbed all the rings he thought would look good. He wasn't pushy, easy to have a conversation with, and explained the warranty programs. I asked him at the end of the transaction how long he had been with People's, and we were shocked he was still within his 3 month probationary period! We never would have guessed! Thanks for all your genuine input Mark, and we greatly appreciate your patience as I tried on so many different rings many different times.
K	Kate Turner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BAD INVESTMENT diamonds fell out of my engagement ring 6 times. I hardly wore it and after each repair it wasnt the same ring I got back. They have a scam set up to charge for repairs unless you go in constantly and get signed checkups on your ring. Really bad experience I'm actually in tears.
L	Lindsay Carlson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to get the clasps on 2 bracelets fixed. The 2 young ladies were so polite and helpful. It took some time for the paperwork which they kept apologizing for but we had no trouble waiting as they made to whole experience so exceptional.

She was rude, defensive and seemed to hate anyone that walked in. She definitely did not want to help anyone coming in the store. So she got her way, customer service can make or break a business, and because of this one encounter I’ll never step foot in a people’s again.
D	Danielle Cooley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in today with my fiancé to purchase our wedding bands. 2 out of 3 employees were standing behind the counter, with no customers and couldn’t have even been bothered to greet us. We waited by the wedding bands for at least 5 minutes without a single acknowledgement. We finally got up and left. Incredibly disappointing
B	Ben Bird on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Written by my wife) I first purchased a Vera Wang ring back in July 2021 from the West Edmonton Mall location (they were also fabulous) but after a while I really started noticing the “yellow” of the center diamond. I made the decision that I was going to trade it in for the larger version, which also comes certified so I would know exactly what I was getting. I had been into the West Edmonton Mall location a few times and said hey if you get one in a G color is let me know. So after a few months I decided to call all local stores and see what they had. Mona from the Southgate Mall location was the only sales person that went out of her way to call all over Canada to find me one in a G color. She had me come in to see her manager Tracy to do the trade in as Mona was not in the next day. Both ladies were awesome to deal with. The ring came in about a week and a half later and I love it!
G	Ghan Shyam Dhakal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice and convenient place to buy diamond stuffs, but some staffs are rude. A staff, Naheed, came to assist us when we were there to pick up my wife’s diamond ring on January 09, 2022. She even didn’t offer us the ring container as we supposed to get that when we bought new ring. I also noticed that she was not paying any attention to us when we entered the store as she was totally free and other staffs are busy with other customers. When she was matching the certificate number of ring to optical comparator, the number was unclear. The number in the picture they provided us before was very clear, but this time we couldn’t read that properly. She even couldn’t able to read that, but keeps telling us that it is clear. The staff, Lory, is awesome. She is the one who assisted us first time when we bought the ring. I would give her 5 stars, but this 2 stars are for Naheed.

The service is terrible and the warranty is useless !! My daughter and granddaughters bought me a lovely little ring for Christmas. They purchased the warranty. Everything in good faith. But, It is ALL GARBAGE !! I had to send my ring out for warranty work in February because a small stone had fallen out. To this day, my ring has not came back. It near the end of April. I have called on several occasions, been to the store twice and on several phone calls been told all kinds of EMPTY PROMISES . It seems to me, they have no intention of returning my ring. I fear they have lost it, and have absolutely no intention of replacing it. Their warranty is expensive and absolutely useless.. Please, please “for the love of Mike” do not go anywhere near this store . I’m contemplating legal action.
