I was looking at a new 2022 Limited Ram truck today. Was ready to buy the truck, but when it came to look at numbers and any kind of deal negotiation, the General Manager wasn’t willing to budge. I wanted to add a few thousand in accessories, and the GM wasn’t even willing to offer a percentage discount on the accessories. I was ready to purchase their $100k truck today, but they weren’t willing to even take a few hundred off the deal. So no deal, and I walked. Their GM didn’t even bother to walk the floor to say hello to any of the customers that were on the lot. I would have thought that their GM would have popped his head out of his secret office on occasion to meet their customers. They talk about joining a family when you buy a RAM, but it seems to be all talk.
So, I went home and made some calls to the Mainland. It seems the dealerships on the Mainland take a LOT of business away from the dealerships on the island. It looks like I will be buying my new 2022 RAM truck from a dealer on the Mainland. Better service and prices, and some will happily pay the cost of the ferry for the business.

I could have wept tears of joy today when they fixed my wiper arm on my Jeep Trailhawk which had been hit by falling snow. They went out of their way to help me with the best solution. Can’t thank the Manager and team enough. Service really matters and you nailed it.
