★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As owner of Alley Kat Signs, I need to rent lifts and equipment from time to time. For the most part things go great, but when something screws up you have a chance to prove your metal. United missed a delivery recently but James (Operations Manager) handled things very responsibly and professionally and I must say proved his metal to me. Would not hesitate to use United Rentals again. Well done James.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish it could be a ZERO. Lift was supposed to be there at 8, showed up at 10:15. Told everyone I talked to that it had to be picked up at the end of the day, and when I called at 3:45 for a pick "Oh we can't pick it up, you should have said something". I did. When I booked it and when I called to find out where the lift was. I do not recommend, and I will not use again. They cost us $160 in man-hours, and then told me to just abandon the lift in a back alley. Like I said, will never use again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The floor/tile scraper we rented was defective and dangerous. The support bracket shook loose causing the whole body of the scraper to drop, badly injuring one of my fingers. It’s a good thing I had Milwaukee work gloves on, or it would have been a lot worse. I had to rig the scraper with a piece of wire to keep the support bracket from shaking loose and dropping again. The Victoria store took no responsibility.
