I tired to repair my truck on my own and wasn't able to, I had a exhaust manifold bolt break clean off to the head. I am very picky about things and most shop have been a major let down. I spoke to Chris knowing the cost wasn't going to be cheap, I also told him I wanted his guys to know take your time do it right. I know when you have time, you do your best work and having that is important as a tech, I understand some things just take time and money. I'm not rich and not made of money I wanted my truck to be fixed and returned in the condition I look it there. I would rather them spending time wrenching not cleaning my truck. Thanks Searles for honest pricing and great treatment.

Good communication, all work done as estimated. Of course to get good service there is a bit of a premium to pay, but the piece of mind is worth it for those car issues that can't be done diy easily.

On Thursday Nov. 19 2021, I developed some trouble with my Ford Focus travelling into town. Being fairly mechanically inclined I thought I might have been able to figure out what was wrong with my car, but I thought no I’d better get somebody who knows what they are doing to check it out and it took me to Searles Auto repair. Little did I know they were in the middle of a team building day,…but Chris, helped me out signed in my car and gave me a courtesy vehicle so I was able to get home and to work the next morning. Chris called me the next morning, gave me a very detailed report on my car, fearing the worst it turned out to be something that was easily fixable for them, and the price was reasonable for the repair required, and the best part was my car was ready to go by the end of the day. My family has used searles auto over the years for service on vehicles and has always done a top notch job and they also performed that same level of service for me today. Thank you Chris and your team for your help and I’ll be using you exclusively in the future. Gord Savory

As a woman, I truly appreciate the honest service provided by Searle's, and appreciate that they speak to me as a car owner and never make me feel like they don't think I know anything about cars. I like that they contact me with updates on my service and let me know what must be done right away for safety sake, what should be done soon, and they never try to force me into more than I need. Integrity is huge to me and I know the owner, Chris, has great integrity.

I took my van to Searle's and they fixed my turn signal speaker and all 4 tire sensors. They diagnosed an issue with an electrical cluster box which controls the information on the dash. They are still trying to get the part to fix this as my van is older and new parts are no longer available . We are hoping to find the part at a wreckers. I am pleased with their communications with me and the price was fair.

Had to bring my car in to get it ready to sell. The team did a great job with the routine inspection, detailed breakdown of all the steps, and did a great job with the oil change. If I needed anything else done before selling, I would 100% go back for the great service I recieved. 10/10 would recommend!

Had to bring my car in after I had snapped a rusted bolt while working on it. Shane and the technician Jake were super helpful with the repair and sourcing a replacement part. They also took the time to make note of some other issues on my car that would need fixing. Other shops have offered to charge additional inspection costs to tell me what their tech noticed so I really appreciated the honest, no sales-pressure advice. Overall, really impressed with the experience.

I'd last visited Searles some years ago when their skills in keeping older cars on the road did exactly that for an old Buick Electra Estate wagon I'd purchased new and, if I'm honest, should have sold on years earlier, but just couldn't seem to let go. They'd always had some performance cars in for their skilled attention, and when my 1975 Jensen Interceptor developed a hard-to-start-after-sitting issue, they were the go-to. Part of working on limited-run, older collector cars of which there never were many about is getting up to speed on the idiosyncrasies that make them great, but that also make them challenging to operate and repair. Chris and his team are quick studies, and have the essential qualities in working on collector cars -- curiosity, persistence, and fundamental skill, coupled in equal measure with care. They know that these older collector cars, and many of their parts, are in limited supply, so they take care not to cause additional challenges as they do their work. Their write-up of all that they assessed and rectified was as thorough as I've ever received on that car. There was a lot for the Searles team to have to assess and check before they could determine the best solutions and effect the necessary repairs. The work was effective, tidy, and thorough. And the it solved all the issues. All of them. Their honesty in performing the work, accounting for time, and in invoicing is unparalleled. The best I have ever encountered. Excellent work, and great dedication to deciphering and setting right an older, rather fussy car. Even when new, these were challenging cars to work on, even for factory-trained technicians. I'm confident in saying that Chris and his Searles team qualify as legitimate β€˜Jensen whisperers.” That Interceptor now runs beautifully. As I drove away, I found myself mentally listing additional fundamental service issues that I'd return the car to Searles to have performed; issues that I'd delayed attending to because of concerns that I'd not find people who would do the work well, with great care. With Searles, all those concerns have been dispatched, and -- if they'll have me! -- I would happily and enthusiastically return my Interceptor to them for their ongoing fine care. Adam
