★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my truck here for a pre-purchase inspection at the request of a potential buyer. Everything seemed great until I arrived to collect my truck. I was informed that the bolts on my skid plate were seized and they decided not to reattach it or even replace the bolts.
Not planning on coming back any time soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought in for Front brake pads change, oil and Trans fluid change, Engine diagnostic. I got charged 862$ for it without even fixing Engine issues, asked to take to Dealership since they're incompetent. Tbh I could have got this done at dealership and saved some money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have gone through a couple of car repair services in Victoria in the recent years. This service is the best I have experienced so far. I know it's said it's hard to find a trustable, skillful car repair shop and I totally agree on it.
I think Simoes Automotive is a trustable and skillful service for car repair. I got my Mercedes Benz GLK there for 4 things. 1. Faulty Motor Mount 2. Power Seat (I used another service to "diagonse", but just paid for the labor fee but did not get a clear conclusion, and actaully some other repair services even did not want to touch it as it's not a straightforward job) 3. Air Bag warning light on 4. a slow tire leak (another shop also "diagnosed" and charged me for the time, but "couldn't fix it" )
Simoes Automotive helped me fix 2, 3 and 4 very successfully. And while doing proper fix, they are not doing any uncessary job, but just attempt to fix in the most reasonable and effcient way. The price is very reasonable. (most importantly they honestly charge you for the actual time they spent)
For issue 1, they helped me checked and confirmed the motor mount was faulty, but as it requires a speicalty too which they don't have, didn't do the actual fixing. But they honestly didn't charge anything for it.
Also their staff is very welcoming and willing to help. Very nice experience. I would high recommend this car repair service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best shop in town. This is an honest, no attitude, no BS shop. They do quality work for reasonable prices and they get it done quickly. The old saying that a good mechanic is hard to find is very true and I feel I've lucked out finding Simoe's.

this is the place. They repaired my Ford Escape and saved me
from some bad advice I was given elsewhere.. Also, they charged me less than they quoted for the repair. Very pleasant people to deal with. I highly recommend these folks.!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my Jeep in because of an issue with the rear suspension. I dropped it off at 8 in the morning and they called me in the afternoon saying it was ready to be picked up. They replaced my bushings and control arms for hundreds of dollars less than what I was quoted from Canadian Tire. It has been a couple days and everything is tiptop and rock solid. These guys are the exceptional to the 'Good, Fast, or cheap - You can pick two' rule, they knocked it out of the park on all three. Highly recommended.
