Review If I had to sum up our moving experience with Vega Line Moving in one word it would be abysmal. Zero stars out of five! Vega Line Moving are located at #104 3870 Jacombs Rd. in Richmond B.C. and also seem to use the name Easy Way To Move. They are a totally unprofessional, irresponsible, and disreputable company. DO NOT hire them under any circumstances. We hired this company assuming we were dealing with Easy Way To Move. In an email they sent us, as well as in their advertising they 100% guaranteed that all furniture would be covered and protected during transit. I could not find too much negative about Easy Way To Move so we hired them for a move from Edmonton to Northern Ontario. That started what would become a painful experience that has cost my wife and I a great deal financially and emotionally. To receive the dismal service we did, and our treatment afterwards by this company is unspeakable. Easy Way To Move which we later discovered was in fact Vega Line Moving were to pick our stuff up February 27 between 4 and 8. They did not show up until 0830 the next day. The truck, that showed up was nearly half full and I did not foresee him getting all our stuff in that truck. At first the driver said he was going to rent a U-Haul to cover us, but that did not happen. The driver then assured us that he will rearrange and reload his truck and get all our stuff on. Trusting that this guy knew what he was doing turned out to be a huge mistake on my part, and so the loading began. Almost immediately my wife asked about covering the furniture, to which the driver replied, “we cover in truck, we cover in truck”. As it turned out, the only furniture that was covered were both TV’s and the TV stand (which is one of the things missing). None of our dining room or living room furniture was protected in any way! The whole process took over 10 hours!!! During this time, the truck was rearranged and reloaded at least half a dozen times. In the end, not only were they unable to fit all our stuff, they had to leave several items at our house to be picked up the following day. As we were leaving for Ontario immediately following the pickup, we were put in a position of having to impose on someone else to be there when the driver came back. He did return but left behind two round Rubbermaid barrels of garden things that we were promised would be picked up, and never were. Our goods did not arrive in Ontario until March 26 a full month after pick up. When we saw the condition of our furniture and other items we were devastated. Our dining room table, all the chairs, living room tables, and an office desk damaged so badly they are unusable. A china cabinet that is a family heirloom and had never moved now has a big gouge in the side. The 100% guarantee of having all furniture covered and protected is an outright lie and is in fact misleading advertising. There were numerous other damages and they lost our TV stand and a good video camera in a road case. It was clear that no care at all was exercised in the moving of our stuff. We filed a detailed claim with the company on April 03. They stopped communicating with us on April 30, some four months ago. There has been no attempt made to settle our claim, or to locate our lost items. This company has never acknowledged any responsibility for the damages they caused. My wife and I have suffered a financial hit of over $3000 not to mention the emotional anguish we have endured because of this company. Clearly they don’t give a damn. I am a senior on a pension and cannot afford to pursue legal action so all I have at my disposal is to spread this review and to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, The Federal Trade Commission, and the Attorney General of BC citing this company for shady business practices and false advertising. I cannot state strongly enough, DO NOT hire this company, weather they are calling themselves Vega Line or Easy Way To Move. I do not want anyone else to have to go through what we did at the hands of this company.

Booked with a company called Atlantic Van Lines Based out of Toronto to move from Vancouver Island to Ottawa. Come to find out the day before they hadn’t booked the ferry for their expected arrival date the NEXT DAY. Started looking in to other companies and of course, their arrival time of the afternoon that next day came around and they never showed up and we never heard anything from them. We jumped ship and booked with another company after realizing that it was Vega Line doing the move and after seeing all the AWFUL reviews. DO NOT GO THROUGH WITH THIS COMPANY, or Atlantic Van Lines, or whatever other names they go by. I’m not expecting to get any sort of deposit back, but take it from me… Read reviews on companies before you book and do your research. Good luck everyone!

When they came to pick up our items they created extra fees that we were forced to pay ( pay to wrap items in plastic, small items put in larger box and charged extra) $225 extra. Items came damaged. Were told several weights of items, without proof to over charge us. We had to weigh everything when it arrived. Totally tried to scam us. Appears that they are also under cheapestway2move, saveonmove, across country movers. They dont respond to issues and ignore you. Do not use!

This is the worst Mover ever you can use, first of all they low balled me with the price so i go with them then they charged me more than 50% of the original price . On top of that they are so unprofessional on different level : - the mover who picked up my good did not use any moving blanket and did not care about my goods - the movers who delivered my goods didn't even bother to wait for me to validate my things and left the building without even care about my signature for delivery - their claim department does not care about clients and did not reply on emails I had a terrible experience and i do not recommend this service even to my enemies. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE NONPROFESSIONAL COMPANY

Used them for cross-country move. Primary concern is damaged goods: "specially padded moving blankets" were promised but not used on any goods, resulting in 22 pieces of furniture damaged. Per company's claim guidelines, we expected a min reimbursement of $900, but they have offered $100 and to waive deductible... provided we did not contact BBB or post reviews of their lack of adequate service. Company is non-communicative: promised claim turnaround of 7-14 bus days, but it took 64 business days. We provided them 19 business days to their adjust their offer but received no response. Additionally, we have not received a proper legal invoice with company business number, name and address, as requested. We signed our contract with Interprovincial Movers...they go by that and also by Vega Line. The business and it's practices are sketchy.

THIS COMPANY USE 2 NAMES. SAVE ON MOVE AND VEGALINE. Lost 3 boxes of mine - Only the valuable boxes. Nespresso machine, designer brand clothing and shoes. Waited over 10 business days to them to reply me back, then got Email that we are NOT eligible for the insurance. They charged me more than we expected because of over weight, then they lost 3 boxes. What is the purose of charging extra cost for the stuff that I am not even receiving it? VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This company is used as the dispatcher for Atlanntis Van Lines. Don't use either company! They do not reliably answer their phones, did not contact ahead of time with delivery window, and rescheduled twice on the same day. They sent out a truck and driver with no blankets, no moving film, no supplies at all to load our move. When questioned about the furniture being wrapped in blankets for protection, they said they'd do that elsewhere so we refused to allow pick up. Their story changed again after arranging an alternate pick up date. We're out our booking deposit - save your self some money and look elsewhere!

I’ve there was a 0 star option I would award this company with that. Unfortunately the lowest I can go is 1 star. Do not by ANY means, even if it is your LAST option, use this company. Sell your items, take out a loan, store the items until you can figure out a better plan, do anything other than pay these people money. I was told to expect delivery 2-3 weeks, and asked several times to have a photo of the scale weight so I could anticipate cost and have the money ready ASAP. I get a call out of nowhere 1.5 weeks later, 2 days before delivery saying there was only one delivery date (take it or leave it; and if you leave it we have no idea when we will be out for delivery again ?‍♀️ and we will charge you for extra storage), and to come up with 2.5k$ (the quote was for 1.2k$) or I would never see my stuff again. My husband and I were both working on the ‘only date of delivery’ option they provided. So I told them someone will be home from all the way until 11 am but after that no one will be there. I waited by the phone for HOURS and get a call at 10:35am saying ‘hey we will be there in 30 mins’. I told them that won’t work, we agreed to before 11am. Well doesn’t the dispatcher call me back literally screaming at me telling me they will charge me 500$+ for unloading and offloading fees if I don’t answer the door whenever they feel like showing up. If I don’t like it then they will keep my stuff and there is nothing I can do about it. So here I am waiting for my items to show up and it is 11 am, and still no items. I had to call into work to be able to wait around for them. I will add to this review once I get my items and see what kind of damage is done.
