Tail Blazers - You are Unique! Keep up the incredible work! INCREDIBLE, AMAZING, LIFE-SAVING are some of the first words that come to my mind when describing Tail Blazers Heartland! Mine was a complex situation, below is a high-level summary, so I hope you take a few minutes to read. My 12 year old lab /rottie mix had been experiencing stomach issues (vomiting and diarrhea) for the past 6 months (she was on dry dog food, and through my own research was learning about the negative effects this can have on a dog’s health) and at $2000 + and growing in vet bills with still no answer, a push to do more tests, put my dog on steroids, and vet recommend brand dry food (which does not have good reviews). I was at a loss. I took a chance and stopped into Tail Blazers. I had never been in the store before nor was referred, I just happen to pass by and stop in. Little did I know this was going to be my lucky day! Tara greeted me and took the time to listen while I explained my dog’s health history and current situation and, with her knowledge and experience, offered some suggestions. She answered all my questions, and not once was I made to feel like I was taking up or wasting her time, or obliged to buy anything. She truly and honestly was concerned about my dog and for this I cannot thank her enough!! We agreed on a new raw diet plan. I immediately started to see some improvements in my dog’s health and within three months (and some trial and error) we found the perfect food and supplemental balance. Within 6 months my dog’s health returned to a “normal” state, where she no longer had any of the issues (vomiting, diarrhea) that she was experiencing prior. It has been just over a year now, and my dog is doing great and most importantly is not on any medication or steroids!! At the beginning, I was hesitant about switching to raw, but Tara walked me through the process, what to expect, what to watch for, and was always available to answer any questions that arose. Switching to raw was the best decision I have ever made for my dog and when talking to other dog owners whose dogs are experiencing the same/similar symptoms as my dog was, I encourage them to do some research and to give Tail Blazers a call. However, this review is not about raw food, this review is to recognize and send a big thanks to Andrew and the entire team at Tail Blazers!! Each one of you are amazing, knowledgeable, customer service focused and most importantly have our ‘furry family members’ best interest at heart! And, last but not least, most importantly this review is to acknowledge and send a big THANK YOU to Tara, for the time and effort she has invested in my dog’s health right from the moment I walked through the door that first time, to this day! I cannot thank her enough for her care, compassion and help in positively changing my dog’s health! My dog thanks her too!!! To the team at Tail Blazers - You are Unique! I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew (store owner) and he was extremely helpful and took the time to walk me through a bunch of products. I expected there to be some sort of obligation to purchase something after spending close to 30 mins chatting with me. It was the the total opposite. He offered me a bunch of samples and told me to go home and give them a try! Of course I returned two days later to get the Hurraw dog food. My dog loves it. I also chatted with Katie and she was extremely helpful in explaining some basic puppy do’s and don’t as well as some insight on crate training and food transition. They have a plethora of great products and really helpful and friendly staff. Thank you!

Absolutely outstanding customer service! Katinga (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was incredibly helpful. As a first time dog mum I have been very overwhelmed on best practices for feeding my new pup. Katinga was extremely knowledgeable about the products and what would be best for my breed. She took her time to explain the befits of the different products and I left feeling much more confident! She was patient in answering all my questions and had a great attitude. Thanks for such a great experience and I look forward to shopping here with my puppy from now on!

My partner and I went to Tail Blazers recently for some help with finding a natural chew for our dog, Lucky. We were helped by Katie, and when we told her about the allergy and skin issues Lucky had been dealing with, Katie was able to give us great information to find the right products. In addition to a new chew (which Lucky has been loving!) Katie helped us navigate the raw food options. We've been doing the raw food for only a couple days, but we've already noticed that Lucky is less itchy and gobbles down her food with more enthusiasm than she's ever shown. Every time we've ever been to Tail Blazers we've had excellent service, and this most recent trip was further proof of why this is the best pet store around. Upon arriving at the store I was greeted by two friendly staff and a sweet doggie. I went there to find a probiotic powder for my cat and doggies. I was really confused about what would be best for my pets. The ladies were very helpful and knowledgeable about everything and gave me the best option. They took the time to explain the options and how they work. They know the products very well and what would be best for your fur baby’s situation and health. I learned so much from the knowledge of these ladies. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me and providing such great helpful useful information. I really appreciate your help with finding the best probiotic for my fur babies health.
