Dr. Chris Mills was born and raised in Quesnel, BC. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta before returning to BC for dental school at UBC. After completing his DMD in 2011, he spent six years working as a Dental Officer for the Canadian Army in Brandon, MB and Edmonton, AB. After almost 5 years in Saskatoon, Chris packed up with his wife and dogs to make Calgary home. Chris loves working in Dentistry and having the opportunity to work with patients toward happy, healthy smiles they can be proud of! He believes strongly in the importance of ensuring that his patients understand their options and providing treatment to meet their unique needs.

I had a tooth with a complicated condition; even the orthodontic specialist gave up. He told me the only way to manage was the exaction. But Dr. Kolen thought a novel solution, finally fixed it and saved my tooth. I am so grateful.
If you are looking for a dentist who cares patient’s concern, who likes to take extra efforts to help patient, and who has the ability to solve the difficult problems, that is Dr. Kolen.
His team is also fantastic, hygienist Hanna; assistant Taylor and front desk staffs are all wonderful. They are so careful, patient and pleasant. I highly recommend this team.

Dr Christopher Mills and the office staff at Spyhill Dental were thorough in going over my options for sedation. I choose nitrous which was Awesome! That and Dr Mills’s patience, talking me through the freezing process and what to expect. He was very compassionate and understanding of my anxiety. Very thankful for his good work!!

The team always includes education as a part of the cleaning to make sure we can do our part in maintaining our teeth health. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone :)

Right when I entered, the ladies in the front were friendly, and welcoming. Dr. Mill and Parminder are absolutely fantastic! They walked me through every step they were doing. Parminder's calmness made me feel relaxed. She is the absolute best! I highly recommend going here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter had a horrible experience at our local dentist which resulted in her being scared to go. I heard about Spy Hill Dental on the radio and decided to give it a try. They were SO calm and gentle with my daughter and arranged for her to come and meet the dentist and the hygienist before her actual appointment. They also split her cleaning into 2 visits because she needed a lot of work, and a filling. They did this so she would become more comfortable and not be overwhelmed. She is now 13 and can go in by herself! As we have been so impressed, my son and I attend as well. I have been so pleased with this office and Dr. Kolan that I cannot sing their praises high enough! Thank you!
