About Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel
We believe that the Bible clearly delineates that spiritual gifts are for the edification of the body and that they are to be exercised in love. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts, and without love, all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless. In our services, we focus on a personal relationship with God through worship, prayer, and the teaching of the Word of God. We do not practice speaking in tongues during worship or while a Bible study is in progress because we do not believe that the Holy Spirit would interrupt Himself. God is not the author of confusion. These gifts are encouraged in more intimate settings, e.g. believers’ services and small groups where their benefit can accomplish the purpose for which they have been given – the edification of the body of Christ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place changed/strengthened my walk with Christ and in/on the body of Christ! It is filled with a genuine love that spills out all over you! My gut tells me that it is their steadfastness in teaching the Word of God chapter by chapter, word for word that allows the love to flow so genuinely. If you're like me, and skeptical about people and churches in general, it may seem unreal at first (I actually thought c'mon, ? really?) but I guarantee you, after almost a year attending, it hasn't changed! I love this church!

Just finishing Revelation that is so apt for the world we live in.
