★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here looking for gifts for my kids. Was looking for a specific coffee mug and couldn't find it. Was offered help from the staff and soon had every staff member looking for the mug(which they found). The staff were great and helped me find some other items. Can't say enough about the service and friendly demeanor of the staff. I highly recommend shopping here, great gifts for the younger and older crowd. Plus you may get a chance to meet Zach's father.

well, the store was empty
I entered the store with the intention of buying several shirts as a gift for friends and also items for me, and no one told me that there was a waiting line outside the store. I was choosing shirts and an employee told me absolutely rudely that I should buy or leave because there were people waiting.
no need to be rude, if someone had warned me at the entrance that there was a limited time to be in the store, I would have gone at another time!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is what it is. It's not a store for young kids due to adult themes but it's fun. I will say though, their wall dedicated to dreamcatchers and smudging sage is one of the most offensive and tired things I've seen in regards to appropriating indigenous culture. Putting it with things like tarot cards and ouija boards is so weird. It's a display that shouldn't exist, and shouldn't be sold. Dream catchers are from a very specific indigenous tribe and should be purchased from indigenous artists, and the burning of sage is also traditional indigenous practices that should have more respect involved. It's not a knock against this specific store, but against Spencer's from a corporate view point. It's disrespectful here in canada especially due to our history with indigenous cultural appropriation. I walked in with indigenous people, and we left quickly due to it. We did buy some Disney themed lanyards, but we left quickly.
But, the store itself is a good store.
