β β β β β It's been over 2 years since I got a haircut and almost 4 months for my husband. We were recommended sora beauty from a friend. I love that there is online booking which is very convenient to book your appointment on. For my husband's cut it was $25 and for my cut it was $50. Very great value. Rose and Eri did a wonderful job and highly recommend.

β β β β β I went to get my hair done three weeks ago. I wanted to get them grey. The stylist said I need to bleach it again (i bleached my hair at home three times) so I agree. I didnt realize that she did a poor job until i got home... The outer part looks yellow, the inside part looks so purple. Uneven. Keep that in mind I was asking for GREY colour.
Then I decided to complain and came back a week after. She agrees to fix my hair with no charge. As she should. At this time, she got it right. My hair looks darker and grey on the bottom. Just like what I was looking for.
THEN AFTER A WEEK (I went there for a second time on Aug 24, today is Sept 1), my hair looks so yellow. I even used purple shampoo just like what the stylist suggested but the colour is gone. I literally spent $320 (+ my time) for nothing. So disappointed.

β β β β β I hesitated posting this review because I've had a positive experience here in the past. However, I received a pretty terrible haircut recently. Not only was my hair 3 inches shorter than requested, but it was also uneven, with the left side shorter than both the back (almost mullet-style) and the right. (Unfortunately I didn't notice the asymmetry until I got home) There seemed to be little care or technique used.
I'lll be tying up my hair for the next few months as I wait for my hair to grow out, and will eventually have to get it evened out. :(
Make sure to set clear expectations with your stylist or book with a few of the names that are mentioned in the positive reviews!

β β β β β I did my hair last wee at sora hair salon. I am so happy with my hair style and color right now. So I decided to share my review.
It was so easy to book the appointment with just one phone call. When I walked into the salon all the staffs were welcoming even they were busy with other clients.
Me and my stylist discussed about how I get my hair done. I was very specific on the length and the color that I would like to have ( I prepared manny reference photos ;-) ). My stylist was ver professional and friendly. Usually hair colouring takes long time and could he boring but her bubbly character entertained me enough enjoying my hair styling process.
I really like the result of my hair and everyday when I prepare to go to work my hair makes my day !!!
I really highly recommend this place with reasonable price !

β β β β β I had the worst experience of my life. they were unskilled and very bad attitude while we talked about the results i got. she is making me pay for the next customer because I am wasting her time when we only talked for a few minutes and her customer hasn't even arrived.

β β β β β My experience at Sora Hair salon was great. I loved that the stylist offered me a new mask before we began so mine doesn't get ruined while getting my hair done. The salon is clean and the staff are very friendly. Overall a great experience. Jinny was very professional and thorough. She was very attentive and detail-oriented. She knows what she's doing and gave me some pro tips on how to take care of my hair and how to style it. Highly recommend ??
