★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful !! Ave Maria Latin Cafe is a must see destination for anyone who likes food - and the coffee is divine! We had the empanadas and our lives were forever bettered from this decision. If you need a sweet heavenly treat, stop to try the ice pops. I recommend soursop. Affordable, but even if it cost an arm and a leg, they would have been given gladly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best hot sauce I’ve ever had in my life. Their orange pepper (habanero?) sauce that comes with the tamales and empanadas? I would push my grandmother out of the way for more of that hot sauce. The food here was incredible, addicting, and I’ll be coming back. I could easily slam 12 empanadas. They’re a good size, but the flavour + sauce? Magical. Eat here right now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a feast from here, the baked plantain with guava jelly and cheese was delicious! The cheese ball and Colombian empanada are in close competition for 2 nd place. Highly recommend all three of these!
The arepa was good especially with the spicy sauce.
The tres leches cake was sooo good, super soft and not ridiculously sweet, it’s an amazing end to the meal.
We also got the Colombian tamale which was good mainly because of the sauce but was a little dry inside for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thought this place would be nice and kind because it’s a small business. However, we were treated rudely because we brought drinks from another location. We were kicked out even though we ordered to support their business. Rude and bad attitude.

I enjoy a good espresso or strong coffee, and this place makes a great espresso.
Tried a couple empanadas to have with it, and they were delightful. Tided me over for a good snack.
Will definitely be coming back to try more <3
