Sorry for the low quality picture but the taste is definitely high quality! I tried their bubble tea in Toronto for the first time but I’m so glad that they opened a branch in Ottawa. The tapioca they use is amazing and whatever drink I tried from them tasted amazing! Will definitely go there frequently and I would recommend to everyone!

Good service...just usually takes a while (as it gets busy). You get to choose your sugar and ice content. Pricing for a reg drink is approx. $5-6. All toppingz require an additional 50cents. The tea is really good here in terms of flavouring.

This location had their soft opening on Mon Mar 18 and will have their grand opening on Sat-Sun Mar 30-31, where at 3:00pm, they are giving 100 free drinks (choose from their Milk Tea series or Alley Original Brewed Tea series). They are known for their Brown Sugar Deerioca Series since their logo is a deer. If you get the The Alley Trio Milk Tea, I suggest getting 50% sugar level because the 3 toppings add enough sweetness to the drink. The staff is no nice and helpful. I've been to their St. Joseph St location 3 times. This location is slightly smaller. There is free WiFi and washrooms. Update: 2019-03-30: My family came with me to the grand opening. They were giving out 100 milk tea series large drinks with free toppings starting at 3:00pm, on Sat and Sun. All day, you can get 15% off any of 8 specialty drinks. We lined up for 1h10m before finally getting our drinks. We were 85, 86 and 87. We got the following free drinks: 1. The Alley Trio Fresh Milk Tea, large, $6.00 - pineapple jelly, rainbow jelly, tapioca 2. Winter Melon Punch, large, $5.10 - added rainbow jelly 3. Royal No. 9 Fresh Milk Tea, large, $5.50 - tea leaves are roasted with blueberries to get the flavouring The staff are very courteous and helpful. There is a Vicky from the head office traing the staff.

The Alley as a company have amazing drinks, however this location makes the drink a bit off. I did give it many chances to see if it was just an error that day but I come back a couple times just to be disappointed in the drink. I go to other locations and it taste amazing however the drink quality here is a bit off, the vibe is also a bit β€œsad” in terms of staff and customer service. I’ve ordered Garden Milk tea and Derrioca Puff

I really like it here. The staff is knowledgeable and encourages you to ask questions about the menu if you need to. Service is fast, and I find it quite clean. Despite COVID, I feel safe coming here and ordering. Compared to Chatime, I think their drinks are more unique.

Don’t know what the hype is all about. It’s an average bubble tea place. I ordered a Trio Fresh Milk Tea, it tasted okay. The milk tasted more like water. So yeah, I’ve had better bubble tea at other places.

BEST BUBBLE TEA IN TORONTO (and I’ve tried A LOT)!!!!!!! Came here after I saw it on Blog TO's top bubble tea places to try and had to give it a go. What can I say... it was love at first sip. I have only ever had a bubble tea better than this one outside of TO. I get the classic milk tea with tapioca. The milk tea is perfectly fresh and has that tea-e flavor. It is also not overly sweet. Hot tip: Don't get the Royal No.9, it tastes like Fanta grape soda mixed with milk -insert barf emoji-. 100% sugar at the alley is about the same as having 50% sugar at a chain BBT. Hot tip: Get 30% sugar cause 0% is too bitter and 50% is a little too sweet (at least for me). There are two sizes regular and large (photo below with straw is regular, other photo is large). Prices are a little higher than most bubble tea places (about $6-$8), but the flavor is so good you won't be able to stop. Hot tip: Don't have one everyday for months because tea has caffeine in it just like coffee, so you will start to get withdrawal symptoms like headaches and nausea when you don't have one (speaking for a friend). Staff are always friendly, except for this one girl that works some weekend shifts. Only con is they do not have a washroom for customers :(so if you need to pee pee just walk into chung chun next door like you own the place :)
