Both times that I came, the staff members were friendly and seated me quickly but everything after that took a long time. My friend and I waited over 20 minutes to have our orders taken, which was unexpected because there were many empty tables around. After we placed our orders, we waited several minutes for side dish appetizers and the first meal to arrive. My friend recieved his meal long before I did and by the time that he was nearly done eating, I was just beginning to eat mine. I ordered the jjampong (spicy seafood soup with noodles). The broth tasted good, the portion was large and there was a decent amount of seafood but the noodles tasted very plain. The benefit of dining in here is that you get to enjoy the lovely setting; the restaurant has nice decorations and unique architecture. However, I wouldn't recommend dining in here if you are tight on time. Maybe just order take out in that case.

Jason, the owner, is always very welcoming and attentive to everyone that comes into Korean Village Restaurant. Jason's unrivaled passion for food and family really shines through in the comfortable atmosphere, outstanding dishes, and stellar service. When you enter, you are a guest rather than just a customer, and this is a point that Jason and the rest of the staff emphasize through their care and effort. Eating here always reminds me how important it is to cherish those who are in my life. I cannot recommend this place enough to friends and family, and I always look forward to my next visit!

Side dishes are so authentic and we can't stop asking for refill, the meat five star! The server(forgot her name) is so attentive and she cooked our foods! Will definitely come back!

Our family always eats here whenever we visit Toronto and they always make us feel welcomed. Shout out to the amazing staff including Jason who greeted us this weekend! When I say this is one of the best restaurants I’ve experienced I mean it! The food is fantastic, but what really makes it for me is the kind and welcoming service. I have never felt so at home at a restaurant and that is all thanks to Jason and his awesome staff. I ordered the tofu stone bowl, and I would definitely recommend it to all fellow vegetarians or otherwise :) will definitely go back!

The Korean Village Restaurant embodies the true meaning of an excellent dinning experience. From the moment you step in to the moment you leave the place with a belly filled with the most delicious Korean BBQ, you get a sense of how much the restaurant owner and the servers care about providing an ideal dining experience for the customers. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Korean Village Restaurant and it has certainly become one of my favorite restaurants in the city of Toronto!

As soon as I started eating their kimchi I wondered what I had done right in my past life to deserve this, and when I thought it couldn’t get better, Jason showed up and shared his kindness, humour, and generosity with us. The food was delicious (we ordered the beef and spicy chicken stone bowls + dumplings for the table), the environment was comfortable and welcoming, service was impecable, fast, attentive. You can feel the hospitality the moment you walk inside. Highly recommend, definitely one of the best restaurants in Toronto. They also offer some vegetarian options.

This is a family run restaurant that has been in the neighborhood for decades. Please support them through the pandemic so they can survive till better days. There are a few pay lots within walking distance for parking. Washrooms are down a flight of stairs. Cash and Card payments accepted, take out available.
