β β β β β Had a lovely experience at the salon. Felt very comfortable with all the covid precautions being taken. Staff were welcoming and professional. My stylist Josh did an incredible job highlighting my dull do, turning it into a beautifully blended masterpiece. He made sure we were on the same page about my hair goals and I couldnβt be happier with the results. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

β β β β β I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Josh for the first time last week. I sought out his expertise after receiving a bad hair cut and colour elsewhere. Josh was able to soften the choppy, harsh cut I received. He also corrected my chunky, thick highlights and turned them into the subtle look I was originally hoping for (see before/after photos below).
Outside of his skillset as a stylist, Josh was a wonderful person to receive services from. He created a safe, comfortable environment and treated me so gently and respectfully (e.g. repeatedly asking if I was comfortable, gently moving hairs out of my face, taking his time to give a scalp massage, checking in about water temperature, etc.). I trusted him fully and enjoyed having the opportunity to chat with him during my appointment. I would highly recommend Josh as a stylist and will be returning to him in the future!

β β β β β I loved being a hair model for Sandra. She was very patient and did an amazingggggg job on my hair. She transformed my whole look. Thanks to Francis as well for all the guidance and keeping my preference in consideration. I am getting so many compliments. I am definitely going to recommend all my friends and keep up the good work guys. I will visit soon for my hair cut as well.

β β β β β I Just got home from my first appointment with Melissa at Cowlickβ¦ let me tell youβ¦ she did an amazing job. I went from long hair to a super cute face framing bob with lots of movement. This lady knows what sheβs doing and sheβs fun to talk to. Bottom line I had a great experience and Iβll definitely be booking with her again! Highly recommend.

β β β β β Unfortunately, intermediate stylist Lopsang did not give me a successful cut. I feel the photos speak for themselves. This is what I looked like immediately out of the chair! (Yes, the white stuff is wet, un-incorporated mousse.) Lopsang is not very familiar with the unique needs of curly hair and is a little mean! The unflattering cut, much shorter than the βshapingβ he implied, was cut using feathered layers and a comb (big curly no-no!) and has completely destroyed my natural curl pattern. Please check the closeup for the absolutely bizarre state of my endsβ¦.? Wish I hadnβt paid.

β β β β β I followed Josh from his old salon to Cowlick and I am SO GLAD that I did. Every time he cuts my hair I leave so happy. He is very intuitive when it comes to what his guests are looking for and he has always done a beautiful job with my hair. His haircuts are easy to wear and look great whether I style them or not. Love the vibe at Cowlick too!

β β β β β I had my hair washed, cut and styled by Kat- who did an excellent job! Not only did she follow the vision I had for my hair, she also showed me so many different ways I could make it work better for me. I left feeling so confident about my new look- I could not believe how great I felt!
Also the salon is super cute, very understated but a true gem near Christie Pits. A must-visit in the west end for sure!

β β β β β I got my hair cut and colored by the wonderful Josh as a birthday gift to myself. I hadn't been to a hair salon in over a year due to a bad experience somewhere else. He eased all my worries and had so many great ideas for my hair! I'm so happy I trusted him with my hair, I even got complimented on my hair for weeks after my visit. The colour was vibrant and the cut was exactly what I asked for.
Josh was super knowledgeable, professional, attentive, kind and efficient. He made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him for any hair service you are seeking
