I called today after a few tries of calling and emailing. But they did finally end up answering me after a few tries. I was calling to inquire a few questions I had about the school, linage and what they were about. Unfortunately, the front desk I believe it was josh a second degree black belt ended our phone call too early than I expected. I guess I had too many questions. Thanks again toronto bjj. I will never be attending your school.

This is an amazing gym! The instructors here are world class, multiple black belts, great for all levels, beginners and advanced and they even offer all women’s class. I’m visiting from San Francisco and Josh the owner is very accommodating for guests dropping in. You can’t ask for a better experience visiting a gym and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you again Josh and all the amazing instructors here!

Drop in with my girlfriend on a trip in Toronto for a morning class. Loved the ambiance and quality of training. Definitely recommend.

Good place to train, however keep in mind. This is a business. They are not your friends and are not there to help you. Its to make money. I signed up for a 1 year term paying over $100 a month. However, I got into an accident and moved further away from this location, closer to the north physical rehab facility of my choice. I emailed them multiple times to request a stoppage on my monthly payments as I can no longer come in and could dearly utilize the funds for my therapy, as I no longer work. But no reply. I even called and they said that they would get back to me. No answer and its been 2 months. I guess I’m stuck paying for this. But again, they are not your friends. Its a business. Whether you are ok or not, they expect the money! At least Goodlife Fitness put a hold on my 1 year term!

Three months of pain and suffering in to this most unusual and phenomenal martial art, I'm now a single-stripe white belt, one up from the basement. I've trained at night and at noon with all of the instructors except one. (I also did six hapkido belts before the pandemic ended that, so I have familiarity with dojangs/clubs. Just saying.) I train almost exclusively during the noon sessions. It suits. Toronto BJJ is extraordinary. Everything is just right. The instructors exude respect and kindness and understanding and a desire to help you excel. They have found beauty and want to share it with you. A remarkably esoteric journey of profundity. Highly recommended for the already internally tortured.

I didn’t have prior experience in any form of martial arts before joining Toronto BJJ last summer, so this was out of my comfort zone. What I love the most about this place is the community, especially as a beginner white belt and a woman. The women’s classes are great as I get to find people often my level and weight category, but whenever I am up for a challenge, I also have the chance to grapple with women who are more experienced. I enjoy learning from each instructor’s style and experience, but I also love seeing what I could aspire to accomplish one day by looking up to other female instructors who compete professionally. This place makes it inspiring to think what my body can accomplish and do. I wish I found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu earlier, but it’s never too late.

My son has been in Nathan’s class for 8 months now and it’s a great BJJ club. The classes are taught in a way that the kids feel engaged and motivated. Nacho teaches the younger kids and he is also amazing and very fun loving. Toronto BJJ is also a very supportive environment.
