This must be the best Indian restaurant I have been to! They are always jam packed but definitely worth the wait!

Ordered butter chicken from this place after looking at their overall rating as well as reviews for butter chicken. It turned out to be one of the WORST BUTTER CHICKEN'S that I ever had No flavor. Chicken pieces were not cooked in the tandoor. I strongly suspect that, the reviews which say the butter chicken is amazing, are fake (paid reviews or reviews given by friends and family) I should have decided not to order after seeing some other reviews which also mentioned that this place is horrible

We went to Banjara on a rainy Friday night and sat in the patio (highly recommended) We checked the menu and the first thing came to our mind - onion pakodas. They were delicious, one plate has 4 pieces available of decent size. For the main course - it was Malai kofta (my favourite), Mutter Paneer, Garlic rice (heard for the first time and had an instant urge to order), Cucumber and carrot Raita, onion kulcha and paratha. Malai kofta and mutter paneer were based on same gravy. Garlic rice was really nice with a substantial flavour of garlic. Parantha was cooked in tandoori style. Overall a awesome experience.

Staff was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Masala dosa and pani puri were spot on. I will definitely come back to try more things on the menu.

Excellent food quality and quantity. Myself being an Indian, I absolutely enjoyed the experience. Must visit restaurant for sure. Try different Thalis. They are the best.

Delicious Indian meals, everything about the food was perfect….until…. well… Until a cockroach traveled from the left side of the table, avoiding our plates and smoothies, to the rightmost side of it. My friend swiped it away on the floor… Grossed out, we stopped eating, raised to leave and saw another one, dead on the floor. There were lots of fruit flies too, on the wall… I try to be impartial in all my reviews, but it is the first time this ever happened to me (and my friends). So Yes…. Food is really fine, but I, personally wouldn’t order again until I got the confirmation that they sanitized the installation in some way. So, 10 for the food, minus 9 for the cockroach and flies….

Went with a group of friends yesterday to enjoy the feel of indoor dining before it all goes away again. This place serves a variety on non veg Indian curries from butter chicken to chicken madrass and have quick service. What we ordered:- Appetiser: Full Chicken Tandoori- served as a sizzler on your table with mint and imlii chutney. The taste was on point! Haughty recommended Mains & Breads: Butter chicken, Chicken Madrass, Mutton curry and paneer lababdaar with some naans and laccha parantha. All the curries were on point, very tasty. I wish the quantity served was a bit more. I loved the taste and size of their breads. I highly recommend ordering ka ja parantha and naans from here they are the best and freshest I have eaten in the area yet. Cost: We were a group of 6 and it costed us around $26 per head. Which is pretty economical in downtown and I was absolutely satisfied with the quality and taste of the food.

On our recent trip to Toronto we ate the Banjara restaurant and found the food to be of really good quality and well cooked. We had their thali which was amazing! Just a word of caution if you're after super Spicy food then theirs is just that. We ordered their super spicy prawns and weren't disappointed. Their Chai and naans are great too. The staff there are very polite and helpful in recommending dishes. The food isn't overly priced either. Definitely worth a visit.
