★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst pharmacy experience ever. They straight out lie to you by telling they didn’t get your prescription just coz they are “busy”.
After making multiple calls then I called the doctors office to verify which is not an easy task, The doctors office proved me with time stamp of confirmation from the pharmacy and that was before I called in.
Apparently they are too busy making $40 for rapid testing over giving people there immediately needed antibiotics.
On a different occasion I am told they need 4hrs to give me a lotion and will call me when they have it ready. Didn’t get a call or text.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to say thank you to the wonderful lady who helped me in the beauty department today. I know absolutely zero things about makeup and wanted something that would help cover up my Rosacea flair ups that wasn't too harsh on my skin as it is very sensitive. The lady who helped me was obviously very knowledgeable as she took me straight to a Bioderma tinted cream that looks absolutely amazing on my skin! She knew exactly what I needed and was super helpful and kind. Will always be coming back for any makeup/beauty help in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family had been using thr pharmacy forever and with the changing of companies they keep messing with my moms prescriptions. They always wait to the last minute to stock my mother's medication and are not reasonable. They made my mother leave our community to go to another shoppers to get some meds and almost refused to give her her narcotics which she's been on for years and is clearly not abusing.
Avoid this pharmacy at all cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be a great pharmacy. Dealt here for many years. They have change all the pharmacy staff and now I have not had a correct prescription in over 5 months. The last week they advised that they couldn’t use my benefits plan and was it new. I have had it for over 5 years. Nothing had changed. I am now going to a new pharmacy as it has become so frustrating to deal with the pharmacy staff at Hampton shoppers drug mart

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something that really bothers me about a business, is when a store closes for the night before their posted hours of closure. If you advertise being open until midnight, your doors should not be locked until midnight.
Being a pharmacy, if someone needs important medicine, or other supplies, and they show up at 11:45pm, it’s probably quite urgent and unplanned. When your doors are already locked and the employees inside say they’re already closed, it’s extremely frustrating.
I used to really like this shoppers location, but after being turned away tonight, I’m going to start using another pharmacy as a matter of principle.
I’m addition, I’ve discovered that the prescription I get from here costs almost twice as much as the exact same medication from the Costco pharmacy. Turns out it’s the dispensary fee.
Therefore, my recommendation to others in this area to go somewhere else and save both money and time. If you have an emergency late at night and need supplies, go to Circle K who is actually open when they say they will be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had been with this pharmacy since 2014. First time in many years, staff was very rude to me on phone, Twice in same day by different staff. Some people like me can’t handle this kind of treatment and I was literally crying after hanging up the phone. I was almost begging for a two weeks supply of my regular thyroid pills till I get my blood work done which previously staff had given me with without hesitation. The Staff only had to check my history to see how many times this pharmacy and the many good staff that they had previously had done that. And if you can’t do it, try to at least be compassionate and kind when dealing with people who wants assistance with medical issues.
Too bad I have to find a different pharmacy now, this one was so convenient and close to home. But can’t deal with unkind staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever ! I have been their customer for over 10 years now and never ever had an issue . I went there yesterday and found management or ownership changed since Dec 2021 and it does show . Super long lines , for every prescription they want you to come back tomorrow . Last time I paid them money with out check and one of the meditation didn’t had my insurance on it . I thought it was the insurance company but yesterday when I picked up my other medication they said the same thing one is not on insurance and I ask him to check again guess what it was their mistake . After checking it again magically prescribed medication was on insurance ! Less people working / or employees don’t want to work . Changing to Costco pharmacy it’s not like shopper this branch was doing me a favour or they were giving me a discount.
After checking other reviews someone will reply to my review and will use the generic line about safety of our customer . Funny thing nowadays airport , pharmacy, govt dept , planes etc all use the same lines how much they care of our well-being. Lol ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been with the pharmacy for last 6 and 7 years. Use to be the best pharmacy ever. Something have changed the last 3 to 4 months. There is one pharmacist that work her butt off.
There is a few new workers seem to be the worst, they keep saying oh they are short of staff, comparing during Covid they had less people behind the counter and things were moving smooth. There is the least five six people behind the counter either they are not motivated to work or not competent at what they do.
The other day went to pick my prescription the girls said she doesn’t have time to look through and short of staff and I should pick tomorrow. When I said I wait she claimed that they don’t have the product she have to order. So I went the next day she had wrong refills and the other worker ask if I pick tomorrow and they don’t have in stock. After explaining about the day before that it should be ordered then he make me wait to look or receive the order. After all the mess up, it took the poor pharmacist an hour to fix things.
Hope they hire some workers who wants to work, feel bad for the pharmacist must be tough.
