More staff then customer some are vary very rude it just no convenience to walk through without running to one of staff they really not doing anything that you can't they tell how to use the ordering from the food menu like I never done it before,,, its just so annoying when you go place crowded with staff ,,, just let people do there thing and go out if they need help they'll ask for it just don't treat me like I’m 2nd grade students

Nothing but problems!! I have never had so much stress and anxiety from a pharmacy. I am moving pharmacists , its making me consider leaving costco permanently

I broke up with my pharmacy today (Costco Winterburn). There was a situation in December that had popped up where my husband's meds went missing. I was hung up on before I could talk to anyone, and when I finally did get through, the lady that answered tried telling me that his prescription didn't exist - and then hung up on me again. I called back and asked to talk to a pharmacist, and she told me they were busy and hung up on me. Again. I called back and got her again, livid this time, told her not to hang up but I was angry and needed to talk to a supervisor. She said there was no one there and I told her I needed to speak with ANYONE except her, and she seemed confused. I yelled. I never yell at staff. I did this time. Anyways, I spoke with someone else, it was sorted out eventually and we carried on. (But not before my husband's meds ended up on a cross country tour to Ontario and never showed up.....) We've had numerous issues since then. I'll request 3 months to be filled at a time, and they'll only send one. Sometimes two. Only once did they send 3 months. They often lose prescriptions and will call me to ask if I've been on a medication that has been in their system since we started with them last fall. They charge a disbursement fee everything they dona refill, which doesn't change no matter the refill amount. Sneaky little trick to get more money, but not great for those families living off one or no income. This time, I had a new prescription and mailed it in like usual. It got lost, so I had the Drs office fax it. Then they found it, a week after it was mailed. Whatever, let's just get it filled. They said they couldn't compound in house it and it had to be sent away, so it would take 2-3 business days before they could ship it to me. That was two weeks ago. They called me today to say it was ready and left me a message. I called back - three times, because I was hung up on the first two. The lady I spoke with is the same one I yelled at in December. Oh lord, help me. I asked to speak to a pharmacist. She took my info and brought up my account, and told me there were no meds waiting. I told her yes there was, and that I was returning a call from the pharmacy and I was told I needed to speak to a pharmacist about the script that was ready, so can I please speak to a pharmacist? She said she'd try to find out who called and put me on a hold. When she came back she told me no one knew anything about calling me but she took a message. It's the last straw. That skin cream was really needed sooner, and really isn't anymore, and I'm done fighting with them. We have a lovely little family shop just down the street with very friendly people who will be happy to have our business, since we unfortunately have alot of meds to fill on a regular basis. Goodbye, headache.

Rude service and staff are certainly not knowledgeable on medications. Went to get a prescription filled for a medication that must be taken on time daily. It cannot be missed or results are quite bad. They not only didn't tell me they were out of it after I waited for half an hour but then just kept telling me to come back tomorrow. Come back for a medication I HAVE to take daily. No accountability for my time or needs in trying to resolve the issue. Take my advice and never go here. Your health depends on it.

Prescriptions are constantly "lost". If you call within an hour of the fax it's there every time but if you don't they didn't get it. That's not how faxes work. They also blame the fax machine when they forget to mail refills that they counted and just didn't ship. If you've had or are having issues with this pharmacy I highly recommend contacting the Alberta pharmacy ombudsman. This is literally the only opinion they care about. Please before they kill someone with this "oops lost your heart medication refill because of the fax"!

Tried to order a prescription online and was ghosted for 3 weeks. No reply to emails. Finally got it shipped, they didn't bother trying to charge it on the insurance and didn't send a receipt.

This is pretty much the worst and most incompetent pharmacy I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I wish I had read the reviews here below before transferring to this pharmacy. The list of issues is endless. They’ve lost my prescriptions 4 times. Every time I have to go through the process of asking the doctors to fax it again. The staff is confused more often than not. The wait times are unbelievable. Usually there will be like 10-20 people ahead of you waiting for the prescriptions and I bet you none of them are getting the prescriptions on time. Untrustworthy pharmacy. And if you don’t believe me read the countless number of reviews from people who have hundreds of other reviews under their belt detailing the same issues that I had.

It's a shame to see so many one star reviews for this pharmacy. I find them to be really wonderful. They've never "lost" any of my prescription faxes as others have stated. As they're the main hub for mail prescriptions while also processing walk-ins, I do think they are likely being stretched quite far over capacity. It is a very busy place, but I've still always found the staff to be polite, patient, and informative.
