Do not go there

I usually don’t eat cake because it’s so sweet but cake from this store is actually very good. Not too sweet and always tastes great. As for the meat department another good selection and always fresh!! The store is always clean and all the staff are very friendly.. kind of like shopping in a small town store. We have been shopping there for years even when it was a Sobeys. Have no complaints at all for this store. Don’t miss Callingwood Safeway at all.. Also as a member I get a cheque back once a year.. keep up the good work

You can request a special cut or extra services. I also love their full service deli! Their pot pies are the best. I also love their rotisserie chicken. Sign up for a membership if you shop here often.
s	sydney wooden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called this morning to inquire about a specific grocery item, I even specified where it was in the store just wanted to know which flavour they had before I made the 45 minute drive there. I was put on hold and transferred to grocery where a gentleman answered the phone and I asked him if he could tell me what they had and his response was “really??? Like ya I guess I can go look” this was so rude I immediately hung up and will definitely not be coming to this store again. I would rather drive all the way to the Fort Saskatchewan location there come here.

Store carries many gluten free items that we need for allergy issues, and we love that they are constantly adding new plant based items. Co-op brand items are often better than name brand. Pharmacy staff are very attentive and friendly. Produce section is well tended and inviting. Deli section has a lot of variety and is always fresh. If you are a big candy fan, there is a very fun candy section! Good sales, fun seasonal displays, clean and organized, friendly helpful staff!
