The checkout situation is a nightmare...they are one of the only places doing the single line thing still (which is actually more of a risk with covid because there's more individuals in one line as opposed to individuals being spread out at different lines). Took the kid three times today to ring me out properly for 5 items. Trying to check out for longer then I was even in the store. This is the closet store to our home but I won't be back.

I’ve encountered some super rude stuff but all the others are very friendly and helpful. I recently had a problem with a SUPER rude employee working in the little wine store they have inside there. If that’s not a direct employee of Independent then I’m sorry for the bad review. I will continue to shop here despite some disgruntled employees with attitude problems.

I said no and showed the cashier. He called management over who was a complete tart and rude. She refuse to honor the price! Last time shopping at that store. Not to mention they totally jacked up their prices!!!!?

I have had the unfortunate opportunity to publicly witness both owners berate their employees and customers on more than one occasion. The pricing is out to lunch, even when factoring in the current and historical global supply chain issues. Prices continue to rise; service is scarce, and the Produce quality is mediocre at best.

It's definitely clean there; and there's never a problem with the availability or selection. It's conveniently located; and there's enough parking spaces

The prices are competitive and I appreciate their great selection of gluten-free products, especially breads. I don't often find raisin bread without gluten or egg, but Allan's had it. Well done!
