I have had many wonderful experiences where they have helped my family and I, such as coming in for an appointment earlier than scheduled, and helping with prescriptions. I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but I personally would reccomend this Shoppers!
B	B M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called this morning to inquire if they have COVID booster shot available. My call was directed to the pharmacy, 25 mins on hold and there was no one to attend the call. I called them at 8: 15 AM which is not a busy hour at all. Since they did not attend my call even after 25 mins I called the sage meadows pharmacy, I was able to book my vaccination appointment. management should appointment someone to just attend the damn calls in pharmacy.
A	Angelina M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to get passport photos taken for my kids and the assistant manager Janet was impatient. Went ok with my teenager but when it came to my toddler, she kept insisting that one of the photos would work when my toddler was clearly crying. I asked to get it retaken as it would get rejected. After a couple attempts, she snapped and said ‘Well do you want to come back, I’m not gonna take 3 hours to take a passport photo!’ And walked away. We weren’t even there for 15 minutes. Horrible customer service, that’s not how you treat your customers! We took our business elsewhere for my toddler’s photo. Janet is very unprofessional, don’t know how she even became a manager there.. she does not deserve that title with a bad attitude. No wonder my toddler didn’t like her and cried the whole time.
S	Shayra Ford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far the WORST pharmacy. They will claim to only be able to fill a portion of your prescription due to your insurance. 5 times this has happened to me. I followed up with my insurance company who then told me they do NOT have a policy like this. When I communicated this to the pharmacy staff they apologized. When I went back to get my prescription a different staff member went ahead and told me the same thing. They are after the dispensing fees. Separately from that issue. They NEVER have your prescription ready. And you will wait longer even after giving them extra time. Their customer service is awful. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
M	Makaveli the Don on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy or any medical facility for that matter. I called to inquire if they had the covid-19 vaccine available for a 2nd dose and the lady on the phone said that they do, and that it's available for walk-in. When I got there the story changed to "we only have one shot shot left and we'll give to another client who booked before you", and then another person came out feom the back room and told me that they have them but I am not eligible by Alberta health protocols until after 8 weeks. They said I had my first does 7 weeks and 6 days ago, so I would have to come back the next day. I called another pharmacy and was advised that 4weeks is standard, but its the discretion of the pharmacy to push it out to 8 weeks. Their whole demeanor seemed dodgy. I feel lucky to have left without taking a shot from there as I do not know what kind of malpractice is happening there but definitely very dodgy. If could choose a 0 rating I would.
C	Cameron Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could rate the pharmacy below 1 star I would. I've never had so much trouble getting my medication. I've spent days without my prescription refilled, not because I hadn't gone early, but because they had not faxed my refill requests to the doctor, after the doctor had already okayed it previously. I have spent days in a row trying to call only to have my call unanswered. They repeatedly seem to not care and are perfectly fine with having me wait past the weekend (perscription unfilled) even though I had spent the majority of the previous week trying to get it filled before the weekend. The least the staff at the pharmacy could do is even act empathetic toward their mistakes or at the very least throw an "I'm sorry about that" my way...but they don't.
L	Lindsay Callaway on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually don’t like to complain about services in my neighborhood but the pharmacy at shoppers has earned this one star review more than once. Today was the last straw. I’m almost 8 months pregnant and in need of support stockings. Do you think I can get them from here? Not a chance! I was told to come back 2 times since the pharmacist was waiting for a technician to take measurements, or they didn’t “have time” to do so. Ok, annoying, I only need to haul my heavy body back there. On the 3rd time they said they only take measurements in the morning and to come back a forth time!! This was not stated my other trips there, why not? If they don’t want my business, they got what they wanted..
K	Kyla Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never had so many problems with a pharmacy before! Not just once or twice, consistently. I have called over 20 times and have had no answer. I had to call the next day over and over again, when they finally answered, they couldn't care less about the problems I've had with their pharmacy. No apologies or concern that I was unable to get my medications. On probably more than 5 occasions, my doctors have sent in faxes which they have never gotten. They have also refused to re-fill prescriptions straight to the doctors office when the doctors office is also saying the pharmacy needs to contact them for the re-fill. On multiple occasions, I have been without my medications for several days while they figure out that they are the ones that are supposed to be sending in the prescription by fax. We are definitely looking for a new pharmacy, despite how close this one is to us. Too many issues! Disorganized, unprofessional, rude, and uncompassionate pharmacy team.
