I was a Telus customer for years, they have their own problems, but wanted to try a new internet provider. I moved to a new location and signed up for Shaw internet and TV service. There were no promotions at the time but wanted to try them out, after signing a 2 year contract for minimal discount I noticed them giving discounts for their internet and TV subscriptions, I called to try and get the discount but could not because I was not a new customer. I get it this practice is done with all companies but this practice should end. I should get the discount, these prices are crazy high and every dollar matters. Also the internet service is spotty at best, constantly having to re boot the system to get internet working and can be slow at times. So I will be leaving Shaw after my 2 years is up, can’t imagine how they will try to screw over customers after they join up with Rogers.

One star is being generous, the company was willing to admit their mistake, but the response was our system won’t allow us to fix it so sorry

Alexander @ Shaw Red Deer in Bower Place provided me awesome Customer Service. I was very pleased with my visit because he was very helpful, knowledgeable and proactive. The kind of staff member that deserves to be rewarded.

I have always been a customer with Telus and unfortunately because of where I live they do not provide in my area so I had to switch to Shaw for my internet and cable. I have had nothing but problems with them. Their customer service is absolutely horrible, everyone I speak to is just bluntly rude. Their prices are insanely high compared to Telus might I add. I ended up cancelling my cable because I am never home and don't use it and its a waste of money, and they ended up charging my credit card $400 for the cable boxes after I explained to them I work away and haven't been able to ship them back yet, and they do not care. Please save your time and money and go to a different provider. I think their 2 star rating speaks volumes...

Complete garbage service. My internet was great at the start of my two-year term. After that, my service continually got poorer. I finally called in and asked for a tech to come to take a look. He ended up finding a problem with something outside and said he would come back in a day or two once the new part came in. Some time went by, and my internet never improved. I called again and asked them if they had ever returned to replace the part, but they had no record of the original service call. She couldn't even tell me the name of the tech who came. These guys don't care about their customers at all. The entire two years I had Shaw internet, it was slow, spotty, and no one seemed to want to help. I just switched to Telus, and I’m happy so far, lets hope it stays that way.

Good day! My name is Mustafa Rashad. I just want to write this feedback to greatly thank Shaw's Mobile Customer service worker named AJ who works at Sunridge Shaw in Canada, Calgary, Alberta. I came with my dad & younger brother to replace my phone's SIM CARD & carrier. AJ has shown to provide [excellent] customer service & he was helping us by informing us of many promotional plans that we didn't even know we had. So, my phone wasn't receiving the SMS to help keep my phone number when I switch from Chatr to Shaw Mobile & so AJ took it upon himself to ask for my permission to put my SIM Card in his phone temporarily (which I accepted) to assist us through the process which did work flawlessly. He also helped us get the promotional Shaw Home WIFI 1GB/s internet router & plan which helped us amazingly because we are a family of 7 members. His help, respect, customer skills, & friendly attitude must be rewarded. He is a very nice & talented individual & it was a pleasure meeting you & your team. Thank you!

Had a 2 year contract that was expired and they automatically increased my charges each month without notice. In frustration I called to find that out I ended up doing another 2 year contract. I'm halfway through the second term now and have moved locations. I inquired multiple times to see if I could get internet services moved to my new home. Unfortunately Shaw doesn't provide services in the area I've moved to, otherwise I would have kept the services. I requested to have the cancellation fee waived because of this reason and they were unwilling to do so. Disappointed in the service and how they try to pass you on to someone else to deal with.

The only reason this place even gets 1 star s because they wont let me do a negative. That is exactly what this company is a complete negative waste of time to deal with. The 3rd party company (Likewise) they use for warranty work is even worse than Shaw if you can believe that. You better check and make sure they are actually going to fix your phone before paying Likewise anything for warranty service because they will just tell you its fixed and send your broken phone back to you. When they do this Shaw will tell you there is nothing they can do for you even if you paid the fees since you bought the phone for extended warranty. A cell service provider that has no say in what their warranty provider does? Worst service and professionalism from a company I have ever seen. Good luck with these guys if you use them for anything really but as a cell service provider they have junk cell coverage, junk service and good luck if you have a problem because they wont lift a finger to help you. Id rate this place a flat zero.
