★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did quick shopping here two days in a row. I had never shopped in here before.
The setup is slightly different from all other grocery stores in town.
They have a big deli. In fact, it's the biggest grocery store deli in Vernon aside from maybe making sandwiches like Safeway does.
There aren't vegetarian sushi rolls and only one veggie sandwich.
Prices are comparable to Safeway and Butcher Boys. They do have deals too, though.
The tills are set up in an unusual spot. The aisles are tight.
I bought their in house made samosas and they were. . .the worst samosas I ever had. I've never had two samosas that completely crumble on the plate after the first bite.
Save On is essentially wedged between Superstore and Wal Mart. Unless you're looking for a specific product or deli item, I'd stick with shopping at the two big stores around the corner.
Helpful and friendly staff, though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is regarding my experience in Save on's online grocery order process. Online grocery ordering is cumbersome picking items and many items are not loaded into their online dictionary, their technology is outdated as gift cards cannot be used for online orders, they gave a bunch of my online grocery order away to the wrong person which resulted in me waiting for them to re-gather the groceries. Ultimately the process is not smooth. Their store motto is 'we go the extra mile for you'. Unfortunately in my experience shopping here, this motto does not ring true for a variety of reasons.
