R	Raghav Arora on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady at the front door was kind and welcoming, when I entered the door of RBC on September 18, she asked me politely if she can help me with any thing. I told her my reason to visit to the branch, As I was little early she asked me to wait until that person is back and she will make sure that person will know that I am here already, also feel free to ask her anything meanwhile. And, one of the front end person found me waiting on the couch for the person I came to see and asked me if I have been helped by some one or not yet. I do not understand the reason why this branch is having one star when every one there is supportive and ready to help.
A	A Hicks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly the poor reviews I see prior to my own seem to be warranted after visiting this branch. I stepped in to drop off a charitable donation from a local campaign, one I bring in annually, usually to the HWY 6 branch. Decided to go here as it is closer to work and home. As soon as I walked in the manager was attentive but not in an ideal way. Tellers all looked down at their desks and the manager inquired why my coin was not rolled. I’ve never rolled coin before, not an issue of the effort it takes, Simply never been asked to do so. This lead to me being spoken to like I’m a child because I clearly forgot that I did in fact roll it in the past... according to the staff. I can say with 100% confidence that I have never. Regardless I agreed, let’s do this I’ll roll it. As the manager walked by a teller she whispered to her and then the teller pitched in and assured me that she was there for my previous donation, I definitely DID roll my coin... at this point I was ready to pack up and head to the other RBC. Then they told me that the way I counted the bills was so off that my total was way off... definitely something you want to hear when you’re making a charitable donation. I was within a few dollars. I’m unsure if it was a bad day, if maybe my uniform gave off a vibe that wasn’t intended or if they just aren’t pleasant people to deal with, but based on other reviews, I’m guessing the latter. Strongly suggest you take your money elsewhere.

Previously I had gone to the Vantage One Credit Union across the street and they would break them no question. I stood in line for 15 minutes for them to simply refuse me service. Will NOT be going there again. And I will never bank with these people.

I went in to deposit some cash, less than 3k and the teller had the nerve to ask what the source of cash was. Canadian law says that any cash amount 10k and over must be disclosed. I asked the teller why she felt she had the right to ask that question. She had no answer. After completing my transaction I spoke with the bank manager who I informed of the law around this and she defended the the practice of asking this question. Needless to say, not impressed in the slightest and will probably change banks over this. Do better RBC Vernon!
