I can honestly say this is a case of: I wish I had read the reviews before choosing Ryder. Most of these reviews state the exact type of customer service experience you can expect from these guys. We are still waiting to hear back from a vehicle purchase we had started mid-July. Our deal has been passed onto about 4 different agents at this point, we were never notified of any of this, and it turns out the guy who was helping us has been on vacation twice in the past month. Must be nice. I really wish I had saved myself all of this headache and stress over what should have been a very simple vehicle purchase. I am so disappointed and actually ashamed that I did not look at these reviews first before choosing Ryder. I just hope I can get my vehicle from them sometime soon. Wish me luck.

I bought a truck here and after only one week , the truck has some issue with brakes systems : break slacks exceeds the rate limit , leaking air at brake chamber , leaking air at parking brake valve . Even have 30 days warranty and 36 days of SAFETY INSPECTION CERTIFICATE FROM RYDER . Once they've sold you a vehicle, then your doomed. They will never want to take care of these issue that they need to deal with. Stay away from this facility and save yourselves from trouble and distress.... I will never buy from them ever again

I have truck #472814 that I bought June 29/2020 and it has since spent a 2 MONTHS getting basic warranty repairs done at the Scarborough Ryder and Mississauga Ryder repair shops. The problems started the day I bought the truck and now 3.5 months in, I STILL do not have an operating truck. I have received terrible, slow, dismissive and ineffective customer service from both their repair shops and their Warranty department since purchase of the vehicle. Out of the 3.5 months I've owned the truck, Ryder has been trying to fix it for 2 months. I'm still getting constant run around and assurances the company hasn't even once delivered on. I bought this truck to expand my business and in fact I've I've lost over $20k+ in revenue waiting for them to repair my truck. There is no communication, accountability or respect for their customers time and money. Ryder customer service makes Bell and Rogers look great. Buying a Ryder truck was a MISTAKE. They have offered nothing but empty promises throughout this ordeal. I'm still waiting for my truck to be returned to me. Be warned!

i bay (frithliner cascadia) day cab truck and on that truck they don't do proper Service. no oil change ,no filter change, no coloant, no gress all truck part's .inside charging not working properly.

Horrible experience, my Father in law purchased a truck from George at this location. Had it delivered to Vancouver, where he was located. Upon delivery, there was several issues with the truck, I contacted george about these issues and he assured me that it would be taken care of under warranty. Little be hold, 2 weeks later, nothing has been done to the truck, it's still sitting there, it can't pass safety. George has stopped replying to me, and I'm pretty sure hes blocked my number ?. These guys are a joke, dont buy from them, they clean up the trucks nice, to hide all the problems they're selling you.

Air conditioning not working - oil leak at intercooler. I hoped that Ryder used vehicles would check over the truck thoroughly. Used truck rep Lori was excellent to work with.

After almost 2 months I still do not have the truck that I purchased. There are constant delays in fixing issues with my truck because I was told that Ryder prioritizes their own fleet before my truck. Every week there is a new excuse as to why I cant get my truck despite paying the full amount of money.

My family bought a truck from a seller name George T. When they truck arrived, the mechanic found many issue with the Transport truck. So we were force to bring it in to Ryder for repair under their 30 days warranty. They purposely prolong the repair passed the warranty date to ensure we had to pay for the coverage ourselves. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a truck.
