β β β β β Amazing Chinese Cuisine for visitors and locals alike. Decades of classic dishes and always on point with service. Bills include a 15% charge for service (at the time of this review).There are two distinct dining rooms. The primary space faces Spadina and past the kitchen you enter a more formal dining area (not always open). Some Dim Sum Options. For me, I always go for the double lobster, snow pea leaves with garlic sauce and one of their Stellar Noodle dishes. Expect to spend about $50 per guest to get the full experience. They are present, working, and keep an army of chefs going all day and late. Photo taken in 2022. An excellent fun choice if your in the mood for the flavours of Imperial China. β β β β β The food here is really good and the taste is like the chinese. However, the arrangement of tablecloths for a restaurant with a long-standing culture made me very disappointed. They put a piece of plastic the size of a normal tablecloth on the table top as a lining for the food. After the customer finished eating, the staff would clean up by grabbing that big piece of plastic into a bag like a plastic bag for take-out food, surprising me and unhygienic. I have experienced eating food on the sidewalk with small tables in Asian countries, but I have not felt unsightly by using big plastic to cover the table like this. Looks quite cheap while the prices of the dishes are not cheap compared to other stores. Summarize. The food is good, but the service is unhygienic and unsightly. The feeling of eating is like being on the street, not in a big restaurant. ?

β β β β β One of the better dim sum places in downtown that is affordable. Taste-wise, it's very standard. Not amazing but not bad either. It's cheaper than the nicer dim sum places like Moon Palace but better the cheaper Dim Sum King. Portion sizes are standard. I spent 70 bucks for 2 people. Overall, a pretty good option in downtown.

β β β β β I wish I could it 4-5 stars. Loved itβs food. Very unique. Very good portions. Loved the entire dining experience except when I paid the bill. We were 4 and they added 15% service charge. No problem. We paid that too. When we paid cash and expected the change of around 8-9$ back, the waiter wanted to keep that too. When I asked for it, he made a remark in his own language and him & his partner laughed at us and went away.

β β β β β Wait time - there wasnβt much of a wait. I was seated within 2 mins of arriving at the restaurant.
Payment - they only accept cash or visa.
Tips - 15% tips or service charge is automatically added to your bill. So keep that in mind.
Food - The shrimp dumpling and chicken bun was really tasty. My favourite was fried beef short ribs. I always order this. The Cantonese style fried noodle wasnβt that good. Lacked salt and the vegetables were too chunky. The vegetable roll is good.

β β β β β Itβs been a long time that I havenβt visited this place. I always love Rolsanβs food but their service is always a challenge when I visited before.
However I have to say, their customer service is getting a lot better this time. Staffs are very attentive and helpful. Great improvement!!
Service charge included in the bill which is acceptable since their service has changed. Keep it up!! ????

β β β β β Suggest to skip the line by going between 2:30~4:30 in the late afternoon. We two people got seated instantly even on Weekends. Price and portion are reasonable, $45 for six courses of dim sum including tax and tips.(Not very full) Taste was nothing special, mediocre compare to the other dim sum restaurants called βMoon Palaceβ. (Dim sums are 10-15% price higher but worth)

β β β β β Me and my aunt tried this restaurant since it was our first time coming to Chinatown and oh my goodness the food was amazing!! Since it was our first time we did not know the portions were so much so we had to take most of the fried rice and noodles home but everything tasted amazing. We especially liked the tea that they gave for everyone since it was refreshing and tasty. We will definitely recommend this place to our other friends. The staff was also very nice and friendly even though it was very busy??
