Very good HK style cafe with lots of options for the entire day. I would definitely sit down and eat there if you can help it because the food is just better enjoyed fresh there. There's everything you'd expect from a HK cafe from sandwiches to rice dishes. They have a lot of variety so the menu can look overwhelming but you can ask the staff for recommendations. A lot of the dishes also come with a soup which is really nice as well. Drinks here may not be as complex as the bubble tea shops around the area but they're still really good options. Would recommend for lunch or whenever you're not in a rush so you can sit down and enjoy things in the cafe.

To much of my disappointment, another of my favorite restaurant has fallen from grace. Hong Kong Bistro Cafe used to be my favorite location that provides a slightly pricier and significantly better quality option among other Chinatown restaurants. Today, I've ordered the combo B, fried fish cutlet, ginger and scallion lamb stew with rice, hot Horlick and cream of mushroom soup. The soup tasted like diluted Campbell with canned button mushrooms. The Horlick tasted like water with a small spoon of Horlick powder sprinkled in. Fried fish cutlet was quite small and thin, where the batter formed a shell thicker than the fish itself. As for the main entree in the photo, the lamb was grossly undercooked to the point where it is as chewy as bubble gum. The only mediocre part is the stir fried cabbages on the side. This entire nightmare of an experience costs $24.45. With this lower quality, smaller portion and higher price practice of Hong Kong Bistro Cafe, I will not be coming back again.

HK cafe located on the second floor. Staff was really friendly and the food was reasonably prices with good portions. The meals come with soup which is a great appetizer! Everything we got was tasty, especially the baked pork chop on rice. It was my first time having it and will definitely come back again.

I really like my experience here. First time eating Hong Kong food. Pros: + a very diverse menu. 240 options! + very fresh ingredients + delicious escargot. It was my first time eating snails. It was well paired with mashed potatoes and garlic. + Great Macau style baked chicken. I liked the combination of coconut sauce, potatoes and chicken. + Great portion Cons: - Baked chicken stake in tomato sauce was not good. It didn't have salt. Somewhat tasteless. Also, it was not clear which part of chicken we were eating! It seems like eating the chicken skin! Not a great experience. I want to come back and try more dishes here to have a better judgement. Overal, I am satisfied.

Ever have that craving for some Hong Kong soul food? Well, this is it! I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes, the strawberry garnish and the balance of veggies for each dish. The ham and egg comes toasted with a generous serving of lettuce - the mayo based sauce on the bread prevented any dryness. Don't get me started on the milk tea, classically brewed with the "stocking" net method at the front counter, the tea was rich and coated your mouth with its creamy texture. This place definitely represents HK well and brings me back to those traditional roots. Will be back for sure.

Chill, laid back place. Def a good place for you to come to hang out with your friends. The food portions are great for sharing. The highlight was the pork in the spaghetti. Very crunchy and delicious. Wished there was more pineapples in the salad though. Despite it being named chicken pineapple salad, there was more melons (not a melon fan) than pineapples

Went here on Saturday around 2pm and it was still quite busy though it wasn’t prime lunch time. Been here a few times already and keep going back for the tasty food. Tried various items from curries to baked dishes, bread, drinks, and they all hit the spot. Basically you can’t go wrong with any of their items, and they can make great recommendations if you need some guidance. Free soup is provided after your order is taken (my favourite is their Chinese soup). Customer service is fantastic, and prices are very reasonable considering their portion sizes are fairly large. I always have to pack my leftovers but that’s great because I get to enjoy it later. They also have many regulars on any given day. Cannot recommend this place enough!! (Located on the upper floor via stairs)
