All about the soup dumplings Recently tried soup dumplings for the first time and this location is usually crazy busy - long waits. Went on a quiet night and wow, just fantastic dumplings. I’ve been to the Don Mills location and liked their other food better but if you’re downtown this is a great spot.

This is an LGBTQ friendly restaurant that specializes in Northern Chinese cuisine. They serve family style, where customers order plates to share at their table. Dishes range from $6-15+, and can normally feed two people. For lunch my partner and I usually share a bowl of soup and a plate of dumplings. For dinner we normally share two dishes such as a dry noodle and a main dish like lemon chicken. So good. If you are near Dundas and Spadina and have a urge to get some good food, this is a nice place to check out.

Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were really good! Their other dim sum menu items were just OK though. Garlic tofu is delicious (but be warned there is a LOT of garlic).

Went for a late lunch at 1:45pm. Ordered soup dumplings, peking duck and the stir fried duck with lettuce wrap. As expected, English is minimal and service brusque. Which is fine. We're not there to chit chat and make friends. We came to satisfy our peking duck craving! By 2pm the place was empty. Nice and clean. Stairs everywhere so beware strollers and the elderly! Soup dumplings came fairly quickly and tasted great. Not overly hot so you didn't burn your mouth because you couldn't wait to eat them. $42 for the peking duck. Came with about a dozen wraps. Extra $10 for the stir fried duck and lettuce wrap. Duck was tasty but skin could have been a little crispier. Stir fried duck brought back childhood memories. Great flavor with nice and crispy rice noodles. We ate lots and ordered enough food for 3 people. Total cost of our meal was $79 with tax and tip. We'll be back for another peking duck lunch soon. Overall super happy with everything. Peking duck craving satisfied.

Authentic Chinese food and fast service. They have a system where you write down your order on a piece of paper which the waiter then comes back to pickup. One of the waitresses wasn't too friendly but the waiter was very helpful and took the time to explain everything. The shumai were big and meaty, and the xiao long bao had a lot of soup to them. The broth for the tantan noodles was a bit more watery than I would have liked though.

The dumplings were great and quite well priced, 8 dollars. Had the seafood plate with fish cakes and it was defiantly average. Service was nothing special but the restaurant has a nice vibe. I would give it another go.

Food was good, service is good but not great. We had the peking duck, cantonese chowmein and dumplings which all were great and high quality. UPDATE: Service was okay when they are busy but when dead they were more courteous. They constantly refilled our waters and gave us new plates which was a change from the first time I went there. Good job Asian Legend!

I had a very nice dinner with my family at this snug and casual restaurant at Chinatown! We were hungry so we ordered several dishes including crab pork dumplings, beef onion rolls, spicy clear bean noodles, shredded pork with veggies, snowpea shoots and Yangzhou fried rice! All dishes were tasty! I am very into spicy food and I can say that the spicy clean bean noodles really satisfied my appetite! My son always orders fried rice at Chinese restaurants, and he said that the fried rice here was one of the best he’s ever had! Very friendly staff, very quick service, very comfortable seating! Highly recommend!
