P	P R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered on ritual. Got a pork dish instead of chicken. Realized only after taking a bite at home. Luckily we are not bound by any religious restrictions. However don’t eat lot of pork meat out of preference so had to give it away. rest of the food was tasty, rating would have been higher if not this issue. Submitted a ritual help immediately, 24 hours later not heard from them or the restaurant. Hence putting this here as a precautionary tale. Update: today (4 days after the incident) ritual sent an email stating “The restaurant has offered you a $16 coupon as a token of apology for the experience, which I have added to your account and will go towards your next order at this House of Gourmet location. You'll see $16 automatically deducted from your order total at checkout. Please note that this expires in 60 days” Yep. Rating went down from 3 stars to 2.
A	Anna P. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On separate occasions, I’ve ordered take out and dined in at House of Gourmet. I was happy with my food on both occasions! When my friends and I dined in after 10pm, the restaurant was still quite packed for a Thursday night. We were seated right away and our waitress came over to check vaccine receipts. We ordered a bunch of things and it came down to $25 per person (there were 5 of us), we had a feast so $25 was super cheap. I highly recommend you order their fish of the day (usually it’s tilapia) and their shrimp wonton soup. Those wontons are the biggest wontons I’ve seen in my life, you get a bang for your buck. Only thing I don’t recommend are their iced drinks, I ordered the red bean drink and it tasted watered down. If you’re looking for a place to eat late at night, definitely try out House of Gourmet.

One thing about this place is that they make their food so good that even your taste buds will remember it! Be ready to wit on the weekends as the wait is around 1/2 an hour. Thé cleanliness is not top notch and it’s a pretty loud place! Food taste 9/10 Ambience 5/10 Cleanliness 5/10 Service 6/10 Overall must try!

Z	Zahabia I on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place for Peking duck. Meat is juicy and has great flavour. The crepe wraps are perfectly thin and the hoisin peanut sauce is too good. Take any leftover sauce packed to go - don't let it go to waste!

M	Mico King on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly nice and authentic Cantonese/Hong Kong restaurant. We go to this place after we finished touring High Park every year. Must order their number 301 rice combo (in the pic). Rost pork as sides is also good, the skin is crunchy and the meat is tender. Their onion rings are also worth eating. Free chicken soup. Can order iced coffee and milk tea mix(not on the menu but can speak with the waitress).

We visited this place around 12:30 am on a weekday and this place was still 60% filled with guests. Tried their whole Lobster, Dimsums, General Tao's chicken, Hot Pot, and Fried rice and all the items tasted really good. Would specially recommend to try out their seafood and the Lobster because it's delicious! A must visit place if you're nearby. Highly recommended.
